The Island



I went to see ‘The Island’ which I’d really enjoyed.

It’s now high in my top 10 of film, with Logan’s Run & Silent Running… and well, you get the idea…?

I know many critics didn’t like it, but if one like the idea of a young couple, meant to be ~ escaping a totalitarian state, then it’s the movie for you…

There are those traditionalists who might say that Interview With A Vampire is

‘The’ vampire film. I think its good. But, oh wow, after finally getting to see the film Blade 111: Trinity I think that trilogy is ‘The’ vampire movie, much as I think that Michael Keaton is still the deifinitive Bruce Wayne, whilst George Clooney was The Batman, even though Batman Begins is the better movie.

I could amble on for hours on the humour, style and content of the Blade films.

But, suffice to say ~ until The Hunger has two sequels made that carry a character

as well as the Blades films…



Wesley Snipes is The Man.

Passing through town on the way to a friends I'd been rendered speechles with incredulity, at he sight and sound created by three men as they argued loudy, with gestures about where to go to enjoy themselves.
