Well, it comes the time where another hurricane may be headed straight towards New Orleans. Damnit!



My husband is in charge of the Transient Line on the base. This means he is in charge of the airfield. And THAT means he is essential personnel and will be confined to the base.



I should be evacuated with the kids by Saturday depending on where Hurricane G heads.



My mom might fly up here to drive with me. She ROCKS!!!!

I wish to hell I was able to make it to the meetup.



I picked Khay up at the airport and finally made it to the hotel thanks to my husband and his quick ability to do mapquest while on the phone with me.



I got to meet Dee, TD, and Nightblossom for a brief minute before I had to leave to do my step-daughter's surprise party.



Nightblossom: I am so sorry I drew a blank when I met you. I'm horrible about meeting new people sometimes and I feel like an idiot.

Girl, you are gorgeous!



God I wish I could have met you guys. Maybe another time.
