My how time flies when your having fun...(or not so much fun)

I want to talk about something that has been bothering me for the last couple of years now. Everyone keeps putting out there holiday decorations before the previous holiday has even come about. I started noticing last year that halloween decorations were going out in stores and on people's houses before it even turned October. Now I am seeing Christmas decorations go out before Thanksgiving even gets here. This urks me beyond belief. Has anyone else noticed that the years have started going by faster lately? Have you ever heard of the theory of how prayer and positive thoughts or negative thoughts by enough people can make things happen. I am sure you have. Especially being on this site around all the witchcraft and magic. Well I believe that all these people that are going into a new holiday before the previous one begins is speeding up time. Have we actually gotten to the point in this world that society as a whole is in such a hurry to live and get it over with and then die? I know that Americans in particular are always wanting things fast and we are always trying to rush to get to places (I'm talking about on the road here) even when we have nothing else waiting for us when we get to where we are going. OK enough of my bitching. All I am asking is that for people maybe to at least wait until the day after a holiday before getting ready for the next one. Is that too much to ask? Thank you to all who have been reading and keeping up with my journal entries. Blessed be.

$ "The Prince of Thieves" $

09:12 Nov 04 2006

All through childhood I heard the story of Robin Hood and his merry group of thieves who would steal from the rich and give to the poor. Do you find this to be wrong? Even though it is technically stealing, I have always thought it to be a very noble deed. I mean think of it this way...These wealthy people sit up in their ivory tower and look down at us piss ants in disgust and fear. Fear that they will eventually have to get out and linger in the real world and they might bump into us along the way. And no I'm not talking fear as in "Run hes got a gun!" No, not that kind of fear. I'm talking about the kind of fear some people may get when they see a spider. That spider may be 10 feet away and you know that spider can't jump on you from that far away and it can't fly but even still, you want to get as far away as you can from that spider. Its more like a feeling of disgust almost to the point of fear. They think "Oh my God, they are so pitiful...What if they ask me for money or something because they know I'm wealthy?" Thats the kind of fear I am speaking of. I am guilty of this as well to a certain extent. Just like downtown Knoxville, TN for example. It is over run with homeless people. Now there are a few of them that can't help it. Some of them are too feeble to work or are mentally ill. I feel sorry for those people. But there are so many of them that are just down right lazy and I have no mercy or any use at all for these lazy people. I do occasionally feel guilty for thinking this way about some of these people but that is how rich people see the poor. They think that we are only poor because we have no ambition or we are just lazy. And I grant you not all rich people are this way but the majority of them are. And you have these multi million or even multi billion dollar companies and organizations that just continue to grow and gain power. These organizations could end world hunger and still be rolling in money. This, folks, is the kind of thing that royally disgusts me. The point I am trying to reach here is the introduction to a little story. And I must be very careful how I word this so that no one gets into trouble. Lets just say I have this really close friend. So close of a friend that I know him as well as I know myself. He had figured out a way to embezzle money from this certain multi billion dollar organization. Well he did this for several years. And he didn't take a whole lot at a time. It actually only adds up to about $5.00 per day. Five bucks a day for 4 years comes up to around seven grand. Seven thousand dollars is not even what this company wastes and throws in the trash in five minutes time. So this close friend of mine did this for four years. He finally decided that he had better stop while he was ahead. Today he took this embezzled cash and donated every penny of it charity. As far as the name of the charity, lets just say it will help at least one of the little bald kids to have a decent Christmas this year and possibly even help them to live until Christmas this year. This ladies and gents is as noble as noble gets in my book. And to just think for a minute that he would go to jail for years over this completely selfless act almost makes me cough up my dinner. Hell, someone should pin a medal on this guy for what he has done. He could have just as easily gone out and put a nice down payment on the car of his choice but no...He gives to an organization to cure childhood cancer. This kind of thing is great and I would absolutely encourage anyone who had this kind of chance to steal from the rich and give to the poor. Well once again, thanks for coming back to read my ramblings. Until next time, take care and be safe.

Yours Truly,

Mr. R. Hood
