A very close friend of mine was at Merrit Mountain Music Festival last weekend. She made the mistake of going to the bathroom at around 3:30 am alone. As she was exiting the port-a-potty she was approached by a man. After a short amount of conversation, she was tackled to the ground just beyond the lights, and raped.



This woman is INCREDIBLY dear to me. I mean seriously what the fuck. For those of you that are unfamiliar with the festival, to be frank, there are sluts everywhere. Girls that will Gladly take it in whatever orifice you would like to stick it in. But no, why fuck a slut when you can hurt and break a beautiful young girl.

As I mourn the loss of my cousin Grant, I am planning the birthday of my son. It is really conflicting. I do not know why this death has been as hard for me as it has been. It is not the first loss in my life. Seeing the crash site was the topper for my anger at God. Had he fallen asleep 5 seconds sooner or later, the crash would not have been fatal.
