The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

As I said in my profile my introduction to the vampires came in the form of a game. And during the creation of my character for that game (vampire the masquerade) I made up a story so here it is...this may just be part of it....



Alessandra was born in the south of France to a wealthy family with a vast vineyard in an effort to combine family interests with the ability to market their wines Alessandra was promised to the elder son of a long established family in Italy near Venice. On her 16th birthday she was taken to Venice and left in the care of her soon to be husband who was 20 years her senior. He was much more interested in carousing and playing poker with his friends and cohorts than he was in her. And often was away for long stretches at a time. Alessandra took to walking in the gardens along the property and reading books about how to create potions and other magical texts. 2years later she and her fiancée were married ..she got pregnant and produced a son quickly. This was all well and good an heir was produced and her husband paid her no more mind after that.

About a year later while out for a walk, a gentleman approached her. He was far more handsome than any man she had ever met before and she was immediately intoxicated by his presence. This gentleman, Artur, by name, took the time to talk to her. Discovered her passions discovered her latent talent for magic and seduced her. It was still a while before she learned what he really was. And. When she found out. The choice was no longer hers. He gave to her the dark gift, his purpose was to have her go out and fight a battle for him. A battle she couldn't win...or at least that's what he thought. But in the midst of battle a strange thing happened and she was able to draw the magic of the world into herself and force it to produce a protector for her. This protector killed all the remaining demons and Alessandra survived. Artur didn't expect her to survive so he hadn't been prepared to have her. But. The power she possessed he would not relinquish that either. And so. He kept her. In his tower. She could read everything she wanted. She could do whatever experiments she wanted as long as she requested and received the supplies she needed for them. Sometimes Artur gave her everything she could have ever wanted, but he was in control, she would only ever learn what he wanted her to learn. If ever she were to learn more she would have to break free of this gilded cage she was being kept in
