I went through boyfriends like a drugy through crack. Okay maybe not that fast but close enough. He quietly sat back and watched how I acted, what guys I went out with and who I was. On the last day of the school year, Dann'elle, him and I hung out. Dann'elle ended up having to go home sooner, so she left and we stayed in town. We sat in the pavilion by the park for hours just talking. It was amazing how in a short amount of time, we had told eachother things we never told anyone. We had never talked like that before. In a matter of a couple hours, I had fallen in love with him for the most part. It would take awhile for me to notice and admit to it, but I had.
He was a friend of Dann'elle's, my best friend, and they had met in their computer class. In the last marking period of my sophmore year, he hung out with us at lunch everyday. I barely paid attention to him with the belief that him and Dann'elle were going to get together. I was wrong.
It was like something stolen out of the movies. A warm summers night, the moon the only light, him and me on either side of a white picket fence. The time after this fairy tale moment, was anything but perfect. Before I get into that, how about I start at the begining...
