I gave up on organized religion. I studied and did what I could to answer all of my questions. However, I came to the conclusion that it was not my path. I believe in the old ways and proud of it. I grew up in church and left as a teenager. No desire to hang around and be condemned all the time. People are free to be themselves, so be yourself and enjoy life.
Many are willing to die for family and friends. The real question is, are you willing to live for them?

Yes I am.
Yes, I am too and I do. Family is extremely important to me. Also my friends are too. I liked this journal entry. I read so many journals here where people are always fighting with there family. I always feel bad for these people. I know I am lucky to have the family and friends I have and I tell them all the time. I also do my best to show them how much they mean to me by my actions. I had a time in my life that I know I caused them great worry. I got myself together and I promised my mother and my brothers that I would straighten myself up and live a good life for them and for me. Thank you for posting this question.
I will always live for them. But I would also die for them. My son may very well one day need my organs....I rather him live on. But yes, in ordinary circumstances, always choose to live for your loved ones. Living and showing appreciation is key.
*hugs* Thank you for your support. I am grateful for you.
I finally have sometime off. I have allot to study and I am looking forward to it. I also decided to block out all the excessively negative stuff in my life. Changed the input so that I could get better results. The changes included letting go of some chronically negative people as well. I am who I am. In the event they cannot handle that, then they can move on. Why let people suck the happiness out of your life , when you do not have to tolerate it? Lilincat AKA Liliy always encouraged me about the power of being positive. No matter what is going on , she stays positive. I admire that in people.
A beautiful but busy day ahead. Today will be a marathon to do list. Yet at the end is a great reward.

I have found that various mainstream paths to "enlightenment" are often filled with people who will not let others be themselves. The "one true way" and all that nonsense. I have found that no two people have exactly the same journey, in any aspect of life. I wish you well on your own journey. :)

I love what you wrote. And I agree. I'm still searching for that path.
