The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

So, I've been MIA from here for quite some time, so I guess it's time for a life update.



I've been busy with school. Back in January I started my student teaching and mentor program through Bemidji State. The program I'm in is an Elementary Education degree, that I do partially online and partially on campus at the local college. It's designed for those of us that live in the middle of nowhere. I get paired up with a local teacher that mentors me for 3 years, while I do my classes. I've learned quite a bit and my mentor is awesome.

This is the program I'm in. I'm supplementing those classes with others that colleges offer online around the state. A lot of the classes I've taken as electives for my Gen. Ed. transfer and cover ones I need.



In other news...I've also been dealing with major health issues. Shortness of breath, chest pain/tightness, all sorts of fun stuff. I've had tons of tests done and I'll be having surgery end of May/early June. I go into to see the surgeon on Friday to start that process.



I've also been really busy with Student Senate and all the advocacy work at the state level. I hold a regional position, on top of being the president at my campus. The state has been talking about re-allocating credit card fees to students, so I've been working really hard on stopping that before it goes too far.



So yeah, life has been busy for me. I still do my scrapping to help with money, that hasn't changed. Pretty much, I'm too busy to be "active" on here. Things might slow down over the summer.
