Well, I have 12 boxes of music equipment in my hallway, and 3 more boxes coming. Yippee!
I did all the dining this week. Some of you will be a bit miffed, but there was no way to seat everyone the way they requested. The table sizes this year were 4 and 8. Some of you wanted to sit with up to 18 people! However, once onboard, if you can get someone else to agree to switch with you - you can change tables on your own.
Yesterday, Red Flag sent me a big box of CD's! Woohooo! I listened.. and it totaly kicks major gothiky good ass! Crystal got so excited that Im surprised she didnt blow a seam!
Still waiting on Deepest Symphony and Combichrist CD's. I've talked to both bands and they are still working on them, however Im gauranteed to have them PRIOR to the cruise... if not, well.. I know where they will be on October 10th now dont I? (thats a joke! Of course I'd lynch them AFTER they perform! :)
Bookings for the 2009 cruise are already underway. We've got 23 cabins already booked! I think we will see much higher numbers next year, as gas/fuel prices start leveling off.
TShirts are still on order. Evidently the design was a bit complex - so the tshirt company had to wait for an artist to make the files compatible with their software. Production has finaly started, and I have avoided a nervous breakdown over the shirts.
Wristbands are coming. On their way.. wont be a gaudy green this year either!
My next procedure (Minor Surgery) was moved to AFTER the cruise. So I should be almost at %100 for the cruise. Dancing for me! yay!
Im already working on the 2010 Gothic Cruise Bands. News of that cruise will come out about April of 2009.
Here's an idea - for those of you that are die-hard goth cruisers and plan on attending them yearly.. or even semi-yearly.. go to barnes and noble, and get yourself a blank page journal. Use this for all your autographs! This is what I've done. Yes.. i want autographs too. Last year, I had VNV sign my day-planner - which I used often in preperation for the cruise.
The bands are getting their merchandise together, and they will be selling these onboard. They will sell them at the autograph session, and at their own concerts.
Finaly.. I got a huge box of gothic cruise tickets 2 days ago. Crystal and I are working on these today and tomorrow. Well be mailing out those tickets for those not attending the precruise party.
