Well, I had plans on doing it DURING the cruise but it came out a bit early.

Angela and I got engaged a couple of weeks ago.

She found the link to the ring in my favorites, and I hadn't had my coffee yet so I ended up answering the 'what is this?' question honestly.

It wasn't the romantic proposal I wanted on the balcony overlooking the ocean, but I'll recruit some of you and maybe do something to make up for it later :P

It's a lil' thing she chose herself.

A ruby in the middle surrounded by 6 diamonds. It's petite but so is she :P.

I've seen the ring and it's as lovely as she is. Congrats again skully!

Ok, now the hard part...

She doesn't drink really.

Now, I'm not one to force anyone else into doing something they don't wanna, but surely we can find some foo-foo drink she likes. If I paid over 2 bones for water, coke, and virgin pina coladas, I might have to kick her.

Skully ya can't go wrong with the "FunShip" , Bahama Mama, or a Bay Breeze... Tequila Sunrise is great too. I drink em on the ship cuz it's vacation and they are yummy:)
Kamikaze shots and Jolly Ranchers for the lighter end of those things

midori sour, sex on the beach, pain in the bahama, melon ball, . . . .shot wise I would try a tic tac its a shot of stoli o dropped into half a glass of redbull then chugged and when consumed tastes like an orange tic tac :) ta da!

Yeah we were pretty much on a drink special diet lol! Some of the frozen drinks were yummy too :)

This is gonna be a hell of a hangover coming......

Yeah but at least we won't be trying to chug as many of those little cocktails as we can in an hour for open bar lol. That was truly the only time I feel I overdid it last time ;p

Yup the Masquerade night I hit ye ol Jack Daniels a bit much.... Slept on the floor most of the night....

I asked for a suggestion from one of the bartenders on the cruise and got a great froo-froo drink called Kiss On The Lips. It's very pretty and quite tasty :)

I find that a simple Pina Colada is a nice mild drink. Tastes great, is nice and cold, and just barely has a hint of alcohol taste.

If that don't work, then there are always shots of Grey Goose...

She's already friends with Jen and Brent, but has heard the legends about the rest of you.

OH yah, this weekend we formally move in together. Let the living in sin begin (wedding date still not set, sometime next year....)

If any of you remember, Scott and Kathy will be our new landlords. They bought a victorian house as an investment property years ago. They fixed it up to sell it, but then decided they loved it too much (and wanted to live downtown). Now they will live in the bottom part and we're renting the top.

Its not as pretty as my fancy apartment, but then again the windows aren't 120 years old either!

Well the move went well.

One thing that probably means nothing to you guys but a lot to me is that I get to have all my extensive dental work done before the cruise (and more importantly the wedding..).

This means that I will actually smile, and you're in less danger of me spitting half my drink at you during my ramblings.

Also, I can eat pizza with the front of my face!

I know, it's silly, but it's big news to me! Of course it will cost as much as both of us going on the cruise.....
