Any tips on where to get a cheaper flight? Also which airport do we need to arrive at if doing the precruise party? The Orlando International or the Orlando Regional airport?

Definitely Orlande International. I believe the hotel is a stone's throw from OIA (MCO). The hotel might even offer a shuttle between the hotel and the airport.

Might be worth asking Z about it when she is back from her cruise.

I did not know that there was an Orlando regional. There is an Orlando Executive airport and an Orlando Sanford International airport, but both of these are about 30-45 minute drives to the hotel.

Hope this helps.

Can't wait to hang with you two again!!!

Hey there guys....

Yes you want to fly into MCO Orlando Airport. It's a major hub and you will find that the cheepest flights will be for there. Plus the Hotel does offer free (tipping never hurts though...lol...) shuttle from the airport. Also, there are phones near the bagage claim area and you just have to dial the Hotel's code and tell them who you are and that your ready to go.....

As for airlines. Orbitz is good. I perfer to use the airlines themselves and book online. Southwest always has great deals, Spirit Air and on a good day, Delta.....You can get a really great deal by booking that way. Another way to get cheep airfair is to book 2, 1 way trips. Like one there on Southwest and say one back on Spirit Air.

Thats what I did. And paid under 80 for each ticket. That was including taxes!!....

Basicly in about May is when I would start checking the sights and see what they have. But deffinently do it online, always cheeper!!.....

And if anyone has any other questions I am here to help too.....Z is out till the 15th so I can be reached at ...

Take Care.... :)~

If you are taking the precruise party.. try to get your flight into Orlando before 3 or 4 pm. This will give you time to get to the hotel, shower, change etc.

To Confirm:

the hotel has a free shuttle between the airport and the hotel (both coming and going back after the cruise).

If you book the PRECRUISE PARTY.. it automaticaly includes roundtrip transfers TO AND FROM the hotel to the ship.

Thanks for all the response :) Flights from Chicago are expensive I tried the orbits and priceline and they were both $270 a person. I was able to get an earlier arrival but late enough to check in and not have to wait around, from priceline. Thanks for the tips. I wanted to get this booked before the gas prices go even higher Chicago is supposed to be up to $4 a gallon by summer, we're already at $3.40

ohh wow... I'd love to pay $3.40/gal again !! (up to $3.75 around here in SF)

I booked my flight now as well, before fuel surcharges, etc. $290 from San Francisco to Chad's place in SC, directly from the airline.

Is it October yet?? =)
