Folks,
You may have heard (on not have heard), that Mel and I managed to start up a little baby during our lovely 2007 Gothic Cruise.
We have an update for those of you who are interested...we just found out this week that we are going to be having a little BOY.
Mel wanted a boy, so this makes her very happy. I voting for a girl, but am happy to get a healthy baby.
Everyone, I'd like you to meet Gabriel Brody...
Congratulations! A very gothic looking ultrasound baby!
What?! You're not naming him "Wee Jimmy" or "Wilson the Second"?
I don't think that would pass Mel's sniff test, especially now that she is riding the hormone roller coaster of DOOM!!!!
Nicely done!
Now, just don't make it a yearly tradition :P
Yep, we have been looking around for some little Goth outfits.
Mel almost picked up a onesie from Babies-r-Us that was covered in spiders and bugs!
Congrats Guys that is so Awesome! Awww more pics! LOve baby pics.. it sucks I tried to find some outfits for our son but we live in a small town in the midwest.. best I could do was get something from hot topic... dont have the funds to drive to Chicago. ::Crosses her fingers and hopes to win the lottery::
I am so happy to see Gabriel is doing well and can't wait till we see him out of the womb!!!
Thanks!
We had some new sonogram shots done yesterday during our visit with the specialist. I'll post some when I get a chance.
Kid is looking good.
Mel is doing well except for a little blood sugar issues (= insulin likely)
So how is the lil bundle of joy... hope things are still on the up and up.
All is doing really well. We had a fresh batch of sonogram pictures this week that I need to post.
Baby appears to be very healthy and growing well. Amnio came back clean, so no deformities or mental issues.
Mel is doing better. Blood pressure and blood sugars are steady and good. She's even lost a couple of pounds.
More to some soon.
We will probably get a 3-D (they call it a 4-D) within the next month or so. Mel definitely wants to get one.
Projected arrival is in 107 days (last week of June, first week of July) Exactly 100 days from the next cruise!
I have posted a new pic and an update on my profile.
For those that are interested, I have posted a new picture and an update for the month.
I invite all who may be interested to review the latest status of our little 2007 Gothic Cruise Baby, located at the lower half of my profile.

Mel and I are at the hospital right now. She is in for a 24 hour observation. Her blood pressure and blood sugars are getting wacky, so that want to document what is going on.
90% chance of a delivery during this weekend.
We almost got our Goth cruise baby on Friday the 13th...that would have been extremely cool.
Now I may have to settle for a Father's day baby.
Keep us posted dog!!!! My thoughts are with you guys!!!
My thoughts are going out to you and we can't wait to see pics!!!!
Update...
Mel has undergone the first phase of induction. They had her contracting most of the day, but are now taking a break for the night and will try again in the morning.
Yea! A third night sleeping in the uncomfortable recliner.
I thought once they started ya they didn't stop. Are they giving her pitosin??? For both of my sisters they just kept increasing the dose every 2-3 hours
I had to stop and start. three times before they just let me go the 4th time for 34 hrs and then I still had a C Section...I totally empathize with Mel. I can't wait to see this baby!!!
Already sporting black clothing ;) Very Cute pic guys!!!
OMG, congrats you two!
Welcome to planet Earth Gabriel!
Okay.. thats cool. I didnt know they made those.
Hes so big!
He looks exhausted.
did you show him pictures of the cruise? He has that 'I just spent a week on a boat staying up until sunrise!" look.
Sorry Bob nor I have been very active on the forum.
Riel is reallying letting feel the new parent experience.
Crying, gas, spitting up, peeing on us, and just being plain fussy.
Everyone should have 6 kids...at the same time!
But it is worth it, especially the first time he smiled at me!
Mmmm....babies. So tender and delicious...
I kid. It seems I've reached that age where most of my pals have begun to have kids, and I find that I adore them. Maybe because I can give them back.
I heard that a fussy baby is a sign of a good kid, its the quiet ones you must watch :P.
Keep the pictures flowing!
Whoops - been outta the loop lately! Just stopping in to say a quick hello to Gabriel! Congrats to Mom and Dad! Yay!
bring him to aunt scarlett, ill bounce the gas right out of him :)
hes just too cute !
Yeah, but you will likely bouce all of the fluid out of his tummy as well!
I am ready for the spitting up to be done...
Are the goggles for and projectile that come your way???? LOL
