I am a shadowcaster which means I work with dark/shadow energy primarily when doing energywork. When feeding, however, I try to focus on the type of energy I need in the moment.
Of those of yall that work with energy, I was wondering what is your preferred energy to feed on and/or work with?
Examples of energy types:
Reiki-varies
prana/chi-yellow
apana-orange into yellow, dark red into crimson, dark purple into pale violet, orange red
samana-green
udana-light blue, dark blue, violet
vyana-rose red
shadow/dark-blacks sometimes outlined in blues
white light-whites
jing
shen
wuji
naga
kurma
krikara
devadatta
dhananjaya
elemental-varies
planetary-varies
stars-varies
wa/aura-varies
I'm interested in your sources for that information about energy "flavors". I'm not doubting you, but I'm very interested in reading more.
I used to work in Thelemic and Golden Dawn traditions, so a lot of the energy I run, especially to do any kind of ceremonial work, is golden yellow (which has slowly moved into a fiery or electrical feel and color). I also am studying Feri Witchcraft, which traditionally runs its current in "blue fire" -- a deep blue, like a gas flame.
Reiki was my first introduction to becoming conscious of energy. I perceive it as a pure white light, usually.
I probably am running a very dark current in the course of my vampyric work, but I perceive it mostly in terms of feel/taste rather than color.
My emphasis is on Dragon and herbal magic so I tend to work with elemental energies more than anything. I have been looking into necromancy (divination not zombies don't freak out anyone) so that should be interesting.
Agdistis,
My sources are varied and not remembered but most of my sources were books and online stuff that was mostly about chakras, nadi/meridians, TCM, Taoism, etc.
I do remember, however, that alot of the info I have on the different forms of prana, is from Charles Leadbeater. Leadbeater is a noted auther of energywork and documentation of such.
