Being Human was a 2008 British television comedy drama, shown on BBC Three. Its pilot episode starred Guy Flanagan, Andrea Riseborough, Russell Tovey and also featured Adrian Lester. The programme concerned three twenty-something characters trying to live a normal social life, despite being a vampire, a ghost and a werewolf.
It's a story of a Vampire a Ghost and Werewolf living in the same house together.
The main characters are George Sands who is trying to control his Werewolf urges and has left his family, partner, and job to work along side John Mitchell who is also trying to control his Vampire urges. They both work as porters in a local Hospital in Bristol attempting to keep a low profile. Anna haunts the house where she used to live with her Fiancé..
Although they all have issues they have become close friends. Much to the annoyance of Herrick who doesn't like the fact John has left his vampire life style behind. Herrick is the Vampire who turned John and wants him back.
Filmed in Bristol, Being Human shows views of Clifton Suspension Bridge and Clifton Village. The characters' shared house is located in Totterdown, Bristol, and the Shakespeare pub shown in the closing minutes of the pilot is located on the same street in Totterdown as the rented house.
