I saw it and thought it was a good documentary, and I was happy to see that Father Sebastian, Michelle Belanger, and Don Henrie, among other real vampires were interviewed. They also inteviewed authors and experts like Katherine Ramsland, Aphrodite Jones, and Elizabeth Miller.
Personally, while I thought it was well done, I think it could have been broken up into two single-hour shows. One show about the history of vampires in myth and fiction. The second show could have been about real modern vampires.
The second was the real point of the show, but they kept bouncing back to historical points of fact and fiction. This really didn't serve to prove anything except, I guess, to show that vampirism and our fascination with it is nothing new. However this bouncing back and forth really just became tiresome after a while. I also think two hours really was too long.
They did discuss sanguine and psy/prana vampires. They did not mention sexual or elemental vampires. They only barely mentioned blood fetishists. It seemed the show did spend a lot of time comparing "lifestylers" to "real vampires". Funny though, how all of the vampires on the show were "real" vamps and not lifestylers. Only one person who was interviewed, a lady named "Raven", requested to be anonymous and was blurred out. The rest "came out of the coffin".
this looks awesome...i'll have to find it somewhere and watch it
