Just wanted to add a little more information : the Native American language has no perfect equivalent to match the word for vampire , as the definition is widely used in the modern western world. But there are so many kinds of vampires , and they vary from region to region. Most ancient cultures had one or many creatures that would fit the vampire catalog.

Blood thirsty is what it is. Plus there are other types of Native American vampires, like skinwalkers. there are also good vampiric legends as well.I will probably write about that soon
