If someone had asked me 4 years ago, do you know where you will be in 4 years ? I could never have imagined I would be where I am today.

And had you told me, I would was going to be having a baby. I would have just told you that is not even a possability. A dream I gave up on a very long time ago.



After spending 15 years in a relationship that had headed south several years prior to the actual ending of it in 2008. I didn't ever think I would would end up meeting someone on a website. Let alone, moving 1200 miles away from all my friends and family to be with a man who I fell deeply in love with after meeting on this site.



After having gone through as much as I have endured. I am happy. I have not any regrets. It is hard on some people to be with someone who suffers with multiple types chronic pain. Knowing that at times it hurts to even be touched or even hugged at all. But when you find somoene that loves you regardless of the things that other people consider to be flaws, you keep them.

With any relationship there is always up and downs. It is being able to get past the down times and really enjoy the up and happy times. Not everyone is always going to agree with the same things, but that is what makes us our own person.



I have often heard people say,"If you can make it past the first year, your golden". No one ever said it would not have a few bumps in the road along the way. It's learning to make the right choices.

The thought of having another baby, was just that a wonderful thought. After having many complications and several health issues. I was told 14 years ago that I would never be able to concieve again. So, I counted my blessings as I already had Alex.

After going through nearly 3 years of various levels of chemo and other treatments and being sick all the time. It can lead to some deep saddness. As they tried so many options nothing seemed to be working. Finally they decided to put me on interveinious treatments every 6-8 weeks. And much to my surprise, I started feeling better.

Much to my own surprise, finding out I was pregnant in Decemeber, was like waking up from a dream. I went and took a test, and still didn't believe it. The next day I went to the doctors and they confirmed that I was 26 weeks pregnant.

I didn't really have any morning sickness. But I was sick a lot of because of the treatments. I hadn't gained any weight, I had actually lost weight.

We had some major concerns because of the chemo, x-rays, and mri that I had done, prior to finding out I was pregnant. And back in September, when my back was intolerable with the amount of pain I had, I had injections done.

But even with all of that, the baby was fine no problems at all. He was growing just fine. Adding in the gestinal diabetes at the end, was a bit stressful, but it all worked out.

One thing that we did find out was the chemo drug they had me on for the last year, had been used as a fertility drug. I was shocked when I heard that. But in the end, being pregnant had me in remission for majority of my pregnancy.

As far as I am concerned, Tyler is a miracle. He was not expected and yet he is here and makes me so happy and proud. So for anyone that has been told they will never concieve again, never say never. I count my blessings every day, for the gift I now hold so dear to my heart.


It's amazing how fast he is growing. Since we brought him home, he has almost grown 2 inches. I love all the facial expressions he has been making. Still hard to believe that he is already 13 days old. He is already lifting up his head to look around.

Tyler is 20 days old today. He is weighing in at 8 and a half pounds as of the last check up on March 30th. He is making new sounds and new facial expressions. We still can't what color his eyes are going to be. We just love him so much.



Tyler turned two months old on Mother's Day. It was a wonderful day.

We went to the doctor for his two month check up on Monday and he is doing great. He weighs 12 pounds 3 ounces and is 24 inches long. Tyler was giggling yesterday it was so cute. His eyes seem to be staying Blue and his hair is lightning up quite a bit.

He has this blanket that Marie got him and he just loves it. He likes to rub his fingers against the super soft blanket. He will not go to sleep with out it.

Today Tyler turned 3 months old and I turned 39 years old. He is just getting so big. He now weighs 14.4 pounds and is 25 inches long. He rolled over for the first time last week it was awesome.



**** Newest Updates as of September 16 2012****



Ty just turned 6 months old this week. He has changed so much in the last 3 months. His hair has become very light almost a golden blond. His eyes are still a bright sky blue color. They could still change, but I don't think they are going to.

He has moved up to stage two baby foods. It is fun to see what he will like and what he won't like. He got to try mac and cheese with squash the other day. The look on his face with the first bite of it was hillarious. But he really seemed to like it. It is such a change from the first stage baby foods. He likes all of his veggies and he loves fruit. I started introducing the fruit with oatmeal and rice cereal last month. He really likes the pears and cinnamon with oatmeal over all the other breakfast ones. This past week I introduced meat and veggie combinations. He prefers the turkey over the beef entrees.He is still getting a bottle but only just before nap time and just before bed.

Ty cut his first two teeth this week. So he now has two teeth on the bottom and two more coming in on the top. I am happy that they finally came in, as he was so unhappy. He is weighing in at 19 pounds 12 oz. He goes for his six month check up next week, so we will see how much he has grown in the last month.

He is doing lots of rolling around and just started scooting on his belly a few days ago. He is getting better at sitting up. right now he will sit up on his own as he is playing with his toes, which has become a favorite thing for him to do.

but his very favorite thing is sitting in his jolly jumper. he goes crazy in that thing. Jumping and hopping all over the place. He does this little spin dance, it is so cute. As soon as I can figure out how to get to upload from the camcorder I will upload some of those videos.

October Tyler Updates.

7 Months Old



He is now weighing in at 20 pounds and 2 ounces and is 28 1/2 inches long.

He can sit up with some help but once in the sitting position he can hold himself up. He is really improving with his motorskills and hand to eye cordination.

He has his little airplane/spaceship walker that he just figured out how to go backwards in and has fun scooting around in it in the kitchen.

Ty is doing so great. He had his first cold this month. Poor little guy also had 4 teeth coming in while he was sick. but he is feeling much better now.

He can sit up on his own and with help he can stand. Once he is standing, he can stand up for a long time. He just kind of bounces around in his play pen while holding onto the side.

We will be taking his first trip to go see Santa this coming week. I am not sure how he is going to like that.

Newest Updates

Ty is now 10 and a half months old. He is almost 32 inches tall, weights 25 pounds.




He is getting so tall. He is almost in 3T because he is so tall. He just got his 3rd bottom tooth in in. He will no longer eat baby food and pretty much eats what ever I make to eat. He loves the Gerber Lil' Crunchers snacks.

If he holds your hand he will walk pretty far, and he can cruise along the couch and bed.He got lots of presents from everyone and really enjoyed tearing the wrapping paper off the presents.

May 2013 Update



Ty is such a water baby. He loves the water.We got him a little pool being the warm weather is finally here.

He is now 34 inches tall and weights 28 pounds. He is up and walking now. But if he is in a hurry to get to something he will still get down and crawl.

He is too big for his baby bath tub andnot yet big enough for the bathtub, so he gets a large laundry basket in the tub.

I am working on getting him switched over from a bottle to a sippy cup. But that boy loves his bottle.

He got his first hair cut last week and I saved a lock of his hair for his memory book.

He has been introduced to some new food items. He loves tomatoes and green peppers. He will eat any kind of potato that you put infront of him. And he loves pasta. I have been working with on using a spoon and fork. It's a work in progress.

We have a litter of kittens and he is so cute when he hugs them. He will turn his head and lay his head on the kittens to give them hugs.

My little man is growing up so fast. This last year has gone by so fast.
