Humans that are bitten but refuse to bite - become revnants (like zombies).

Two great vampire civisilisations exist in an uneasy truce - ruled over by the Queen of the West and the Emperor of the East. They live under the constant threat of uprising of the barbaric humans.

The Church of the Vampires believes vampires are Nephilim - the offspring of fallen angels and the first daughters of man spoken of in Genesis. The church also believes that blood born plagues such as Aids are Heaven's curse and that they should start a new crusade to rid God's grey earth of the filth that humanity has become.
