What the hell is it about some drivers on icy roads who want to tailgate you grrr! It gets right up my friggin nose and especially lorry (truck) drivers! One would think they would be at least a little road savvy in this icy weather! I had to drive around the roundabout 360 degrees just to get rid of the moron!
I took this photo of the Master Vessel Azura whilst in St. Kitts. It's a pity there was a grain of sand or something on the lens.. but I am sure someone with the expertise would be able to blot it out somehow. I wish I could learn the photoshop experience, but it's all time to do..

wow a huge cruise ship and great pics by the way :)
Wow thats huge! nice pic :)
It was indeed a BIG ship! heh, I don't think I seen all parts of it, or used all the public facilities on it. Pity, I couldn't take my good camera on holidays but I am so shit scared of losing it and well, frankly you can notice a big difference in the quality of the photographs compared with others I have in my journal..
I have been working like a cart horse since I got home from holiday and fell asleep last night before 11pm and just woke up now 11 hours later! Was that some nap , or what! Been so tired. I have a cancellation for Monday so I am able to catch up on some admin work..and it also spared me some time to take my Mum and sister out yesterday. Family time is important...we went to see my new house before I rent it, and had a couple of hot bailey's coffees and christmas mince pies in the local hotel before returning home. It was a plesant day.. And yo! It is -8 here and nice and white outside. :) Going down to the club now for a session of weights and then the steam room, followed by a nice hot sauna.
Heh, a bit hairbrained to be sure, to be sure ..but I am hoping it is probably nerves what with appearing on national television.

Where lies the future of a country that is filled with people who are constantly drunk?
It's a stereotype, this one person does not represent us as a whole.
I'd be a fool to believe it did Morrigon. Your mean comment about the nation of Ireland is duly noted but being that your own avatar is of Irish mythology you may have your own bottle of Power's to drown.
This is a few years old- I remember the show, it went viral on the web at the time. Every country has its share of ignorant people.
Exactly Images.. that is completely why I made the title statement by saying, "Any" country there.
But since this video is specific- I don't think we have anything to worry about- she's definitely not our future. It was America that made this thing go viral in the first place... our jaws dropped and we thought it was just as ridiculous as anyone else.
This lady received an education... she was just obviously not paying much attention. Happens everywhere.
Specific to humour, yea it is hysterical! There is nothing I have said , which trashes a nation.
Well, that is one of the disadvantages of running an Apple product..there is no flash. However, the advantages far outweigh the disadvantages. I am so hooked on Apple now, but hubby is getting a new windows 7 slate that has flash and usb capabilities, so maybe he will let me borrow it so I can try out the webcam feature :) I really believe the days of laptops are coming to an end, unless as a replacement for desktop pc's.

There are users on webcam here though- using the 'iSight' webcam.
*Apple* users, that is.
Blackstaff is using his Mac right now on webcam- he can walk you through it. He had issues yesterday, but figured it out.
thanks, Images but there is one more major issue I just noticed... Heh.There is no webcam on the I-Pad lmao! I hadn't even thought of that before as I had no reason to use one!
Thanks for looking out for me though.. I appreciate your help :)
Hmm, this is so heavenly as I sit here on my computer...
What a journey my last one was! *phew* St. Kitts is one Caribbean island I know I will never return to. Well, really if an island is reliant on the tourist trade then they had better clean up their act! It was dirty. Period. (photos will follow)
Now with that out of the way, the overview is as follows... We had to stay the first night in the port of Southampton due to gales in the Bay of Biscay so we missed out on going to the Canary Islands, but that didn't matter much as I had been there several times already and it was even better as the Captain of the MV Azura diverted the stop to the Azores instead. I was so excited to have that added to my travel intinery! On the second night however, we had a rough night with high seas and waves between 25 - 35 foot. I loved it! heh, and whilst most people were sick in their cabins, I was in the casino playing the slot machines and won £180! heh.
We sailed on to the Caribbean with our first stop being St. Kitts. The weather was just fabulous and well the ocean was so blue/green and clear. However, that island was so unimpressive!
Next was Antigua.. yea I liked that island and went on a jeep tour and then a dip in the beautiful ocean and lazed on the beach. Next day we sailed on to St. Lucia one of the most bbeautiful islands in the Leeward group of Islands. Unfortunately there was a hurricane a week before and I only got to the see the north of the island..but that was enough since I only had the morning and I was going to the beach with my sister in the afternoon. Our ship donated 50,000 gallons of water to the St. Lucians' who even in the north of island were collecting natural water supplies from the rain forests. (pictures of that too) This is an island that I would definately like to go back to!
From St. Lucia, we sailed on to Grenada, heh.. I didn't see a lot of that island because I did the 'pirate' thing and the monkey rum got the best of me... especially when it even floats on the ocean heh (photo will explain)!
Finally, Barbados... again I was not impressed by this island and I am not sure I want to return there. I did visit an old colonial house, but it seemed to be more of a shack than a house however, the decor was impressive. :)
My overall view of the Caribbean is... nice if you want beach, sea and sun. :) oh, and RUM! lol
Photographs to be posted in due course :)
Btw, some of you may be familiar with the American cruise line, "Royal Caribbean" Well their MV Indepedence of the Seas left Southampton to sail in to the Bay of Biscay on the night of the gales and wave heights in excess of 55 foot. They lost two lifeships, people were injured, glass on different decks was shattered and they had to return back to England. I appreciate that our P & O Captain decided to stay in Southampton overnight instead of staying!

missed ya! Nice to see you back :)
Sorry about the bad weather hun but glad you still had fun :) Welcome back!
It still sounds fabulous despite the blah parts... ah hell rum makes everything better anyway lol
can't wait for the pics (:(:(:
You had a great trip overall!
Yes, super trip thanks for the thoughts and comments .. I am still so excited to have been there and done that! :)
Sounds like you got the smart ship's captain :)
