I was physically assaulted last night purely out of spite and jealousy of another woman. I think sometimes that I am too innocent in believing that shit like that just wouldn't happen to me, but just because her boyfriend was eyeing me... and not her, she physically attacked me :(



Unfortunately I couldn't get to give her a slap back as the security staff 'escorted' her out of the club, haha.. (all the bouncers went to my rescue and made a great fuss of me after though which I appreciated) We seen her later laying in the street using her mobile.



Today, the club owner rang me to make sure I was okay and will call with me tomorrow.. which is so sweet of him.



I am debating whether to press charges against the girl, or not as I do have a case for physical assault. She should learn she just can't go around slapping people just because her boyfriend looks at and appreciates a member of the opposite sex. But then if I do press charges against her, I feel I might never have any luck!



The best of it is, I didn't even know her or her boyfriend! and her attack came as a complete shock and surprise.



I handled this in my own way today and took my boxing gloves down to the gym and let loose on the punch bag! Still *sniff*

So tired.. I think everything is taking a toll on me. There is people I miss in my life - funny ole thing "time" ..well maybe sometime soon, and until then I will keep on singing the blues..

Excuse my french, but WTF is going on with logins to Vampire Rave. Bah! Humbug ... Trying to log in and all I get is some blasted advert for insurance or something blocking any attempt to try to log in! How fookin' irritating! I know adverts help pay for the site, but for freaks sake at least let us bloody log-in in peace!

I want to tell you something.... if you have time to listen of course! It may change your way of thinking and habits particularly around this subject, *smiles*



This is something that really has been my biggest achievement this year in a nutshell! Losing 30lbs that is in the past 10 months.



All of the weigh-loss was achieved by purely working out.. a mixture of free-weights and cardio excerise such as boxing, cycling, hill climbing etc. The beauty of this is.. I actually enjoyed it and why? because I got to eat what I liked, loved my gym and still enjoyed my bottle of wine on the weekends :) In no way did I cut down on my calorie intake! (I wouldn't suffer like that hehe) It was such a sense of achievement to reach that goal.



Then.. I started to think, well what if I actually did diet along with the gym workouts..but what held me back on that was knowing my tummy would ache with longing to be fed, I would feel tired and unable to concentrate on my work, study and gym So, right then I made a decision just to keep up the good work down at Fitness First.



Well, well.. that was until a personal trainer and Nutritionist told me about the benefits of weight loss/weight gain and building muscle power by following the guidelines of basically a protein enriched diet.



So.. I tried it and guess what? I am now eating more then I ever did before and I am losing weight every day!!!! all by eating the right foods!! Of course I know that I can't keep this up and after two weeks I will have to re-introduce certain foods again but my goodness I am thinking of the weight I will lose before that!



I have loads of energy on this diet too.. until bedtime of course! :) So, if you want to hear anymore about this just message me! :)

The examination today was easy. Passed with 100%! So no problem getting passed. Now onwards to the next one :) It was pleasing that when I came home I also received another contract for a bluechip construction company on a large building project on the Titanic Center, Belfast. Now.. that really make me happy!

I got the swine flu vaccine today, and I haven't had an adverse effects so far :) I had to get the day swopped because, *heavens above* how could I forget that I have an exam on Wednesday!

We have been invited to the opening of a new club and tapas bar this evening :) and the atmosphere is buzzing! I got the invite for myself and three friends so Adele, Gloria and Steve our personal trainer are going down! We want to see how he boogies to the industrial rock! heh!



Anyway the plan is.. us girls are meeting up at 6pm to try on different rigouts ( outfits ) and do each others make-up and hair that will take just about three hours I am told LOL.. what a laugh that will be before we even go out! I am looking forward to tonight so much!



Taxi booked at 2am to come home and that is early..but I have to go to Dublin for the day tomorrow.

I am not looking forward to this but I am getting my swine flu vaccine next Wednesday, a few on here know the reason why I am vulnerable and need such protection..but to be honest, I am scared a little about it. There has been so much controversary over this vaccine and it is debatable if it is good or bad for you. Anyway, I go by what the doctor recommends, but still....

Just because there has been controversy doesn't mean all that much. The "problem" is a potential risk for GBS, which can be life threatening. In 1976, the last time Swine Flu came around, only 500 people got GBS (and 25 died) with an incidence of 1 in 1 million. In fact the flu itself can cause GBS. The normal prevalence of GBS itself is 1-2 per 100,000, 10 times greater than from the vaccine. A risk yes, a big risk no.



The normal flu kills 500,000 people a year globally. So far there's been around 6,304 confirmed deaths due to H1N1. (of those 1/2 were from the US, Mexico and Brazil) Ireland has had 10 deaths and 2,700 cases, very small for a island of 6.3 million.



If you're at a greater risk for the flu then get the vaccine. Don't worry...your VR doctor said so :D

I just wonder how many Employers, or schools are paying for this morning's or afternoon's session by users of Vampire Rave? I think it is has got better now however, what with all these site blocking and "intranet" programmes.



By the way I learned the hard way. I fired 3 Admins so far for wasting my Company time. Gotta love the new programme I got installed 'tho! but I suppose after a while there will be a way around that too, I guess!

People that can get on at school are usually on their own time I think- and some company owners are online, so I guess they don't have to ask :P So I guess it doesn't matter for them. I'm on at home- and my husband has never tried at work... although he knows it is blocked as is most every site including web-based email when you're talking about goverment internet connection. Not that he'd ever have a moment away from managing the Marine Corps' money.

Trust me...if I am in the office you want to let me have VR on. The act of checking, rating and just page flipping as I hit that mouse has kept me from screaming many many times.

Well there just isn't any issues in respect to social interneting if some-one carries out that activity in their own time, or if their manager has approved it.



The issue I have is if it is not approved and social networking continues and a work-load is not completed because there apparently is "insufficient" time to finish the task... then that to me is deceitful.

Emmy I get what you mean, it's just like me standing in line to be waited on and after several minutes the clerk is still on their cell phone talking to a girl/boy friend. I actually try to be nice if they are under 20 since they're still pretty much kids but the 30 year olds better get their crap together! I never tried accessing VR at work but then I didn't have much time for anything other than work related research though I did find a couple of majong sites I tried a few times but always ended up timed out when I'd get busy. lol I think it depends on what your job position is if there's a lot of down time waiting for others then a social site between times would be okay but if you're pushing back work to play then nope.

we are not suppose to and not allowed here but my work has never been affected, never, my stats are even better when I go on vr, as it calms me down and helps me forget the agressivity of the one calling, plus when I get a call, I close down vr and concentrate on the caller, nothing else.
