Thankyou to those who left birthday wishes.. it was lovely to come on here and find them. I had a fabulous birthday getting spoilt rotten in Venice! Mind you, my legs are aching as there is only one thing for it in Venice, and that's walk, walk, walk!

Venice flooded last night.. I got to be tripod caddy for my husband and we got some amazing photos! The water level was about approximately 10 cm + above the surface. Being a hospitable lot the Italians provided scaffold board walks for pedestrians lol. They become much a much needed seating area during winter season low tides. Much to the restaurants and bars annoyance heh!
