Now I am getting concerned... Cutting the grass when it starts to get dark?
Honestly! I am looking forward to my summer in Ireland... the rain gets warmer.

Yea, you tell yourself that!! lol
I hate New Orleans' summers. I'm going to buy a treadmill tonight. Being able to get all my miles in with air conditioning is going to be amazing.
Too hot and muggy is not good neither..
I think my Mum just got weird new neighbours as they have just started to wash their car at nearly 11pm when there is hardly any daylight left . Hmmm.

Washing the blood off the bumper!!
Perhaps they are vampires and sleep during the day? :)
Heh.. I think I'd better get Mum to wear my silver cross!
Meeting friends tonight for dinner and drinks and I am looking forward to it. We normally try to hook up every two months or so to catch up. Have a classroom audit to do first though, and here I am tapping away on here. I should get a grip, and get into reality. Thanks be I can choose my own time when to go to work. That's a blessing with unannounced monitoring visits.
Aced three miles walking on the treadmill today in 31 minutes.. not bad considering my spinal injury! Stevie was well pleased at me, as I am too! It was boring though as it was all on the flat with no challenges.. but soon I will get back to the hill stuff when my confidence returns allowing me to do the difficult walks with climbs on my own. I am afraid of losing power of my legs again until I am one hundred per-cent healed.
Tomorrow, I will go back to the treadmill again and try to push it up another mile :) Oh, and yea.. it's kinda funny watching the looks I am getting as my crutches rest beside the treadmill while I exercise incase of an emergency and they are needed!
COMMENTS
Wish you luck with it but don't be over doing things till you're 100% again.
I won't! 3 miles in 30 minutes or so is a pretty poor performance for someone as fit as me, so based on that performance it demonstrates how gradual and slow I am inducting myself back into my normal routine again. I miss free weights big time though!
But, the treadmill *is* the way to go if you're going for 'time'. I can't do that in 100+ degree heat indexes. I have heat sensitivity as it is- it makes my Fibromyalgia worse... so it's just a complete shocker I am even out there doing anything at all. That's why I plan to get a treadmill at home sometime in the Fall. I'll be indoors with the air conditioning and able to go for speed instead of merely distance.
Got my MRI results today, all is ..well ok, but I am still on crutches. Anyone want a ribbon tied on them? >> Hopefully recovery will be speedy.. I want to be fit to enjoy holidays.

Love good news :-)
Thanks Steve .. it made my day yesterday! :)
It is true when they say that...
In life you will meet someone who cares about you and no matter what, will make you smile on a bad day. Thankyou Hubby xx
Welcome to Ireland and enjoy the rain Barak Obama! You too David Cameron! A crazy amount of public funding has gone into the security of the G8 summit being held not a long distance from where I live.. so I hope our government has invested in plenty of umbrellas.
Good ole Tory party just announced £100m for privately owned businesses in Northern Ireland ..so you can bet when the grants are being given out, I will be there with my hand out .after paying so many bloody taxes. Thanks G8.

So you know, we don't really want him back, make him comfy as possible!
Heh... well he might turn the lakes blue if he stays so that could add to the tourist trade ;)
I hear they stuck stickers on the boarded up store fronts they'll pass to make it look like a thriving area... you lucky sods we just have to make do with rusty steel and rotting wood... luck of the bloody Irish :P lol
Have a G8 or World Championship Golf Match then B... Then you will get building sized stickers just like ours heh
Still raining... By midnight tonight that makes three days in a row of heavy persistent rain! I. Can't. Wait. To. Go. To. France! Not long now ...it's pretty hot and sunny in the south of France right now whooohoo!
It sucks that it rains so much over here and so I have to go to the gym instead of being outdoors. Ireland is such a beautiful country and I enjoy the views when I do get to exercise outdoor breathing the fresh air from the ocean coastline. Sighs.. I detest stuffy gyms.

I'd like to feel sorry for you but I think we have the monopoly of this crap weather for now :-p
That would be the luck of the Irish :)
it's sunny up north for the moment but no doubt that rain from Ireland will be blown over by tonight... so the plan is sunbathe now and have a few sherbets tonight... sod the gym it's saturday.
I did a quiz advertised in one of the marketing banners here, and found that the results below just about summed me up. It was really accurate.

Wrecked after last night's party but happy down here in Dublin. We decided to come down here for our wedding anniversary. Tomorrow we will enjoy a walk down the banks of the Liffey and afternoon tea at the Gresham hotel. ♥ Laters a dinner to dress up for, and a theatre show at, The Gate.
Really happy. ♥♥♥

Have a great time! Happy anniversary!
Thanks Isis... The theatre was amazing :)
Sitting here on my i-lipo machine before heading down the gym for a spin :) This fat burning machine is awesome, and it really works combined with exercise but unfortunately I can't use it every day!
Yesterday I did a 5.5 mile mountain bike ride in 15 minutes, and foot climbed the rest of it in another 16 minutes and my hair was soaking wet with sweat afterwards with the hard work that it was. A fantastic carb burner if you have hills and mountains nearby and the weather is dry enough to get out!
We are spending our holidays in London this year and I so want to lose another 14 pounds to get into my size 10 clothing again! (its a girl thing fellas)
