Today I bought a little silver potty pottery pig. She has a slot on the top of her back, so I guess you could call her a potty pottery piggy slot! So, when hubby came home he asked me what was the point of that?

I told him, that is to save to pay for our next cruise together in 2013. He laughed, but the smile soon wore off when I told him it was to pay for my half of the ticket price!

Moral of story... save for the good times :) If not you get left behind! remember the world is our oyster to enjoy, and we can only do this when we are young enough to enjoy it!

Oh well, it gives me a giggle reading back on some entries. However it shows you can't suss a person out purely by what they do and say online. The majority of my journal entries over the years have mostly been deleted now. .. That's a Godsend as I either winced, or died laughing when I read them!

I took Dad down his Father's day present, and I think he was tickled pink with the hand-made chocolates that I bought him as he started to eat them right away! We had a good chat, and after I headed up to the gym to do some weights and to participate in the swiss ball class. That was hilarious! Have you ever tried squats with a swiss ball behind you while holding out two six kg weights? Instructor said, 'Hold for ten' and well me, I thought my knees and arms were going to break in half on the count of five never mind ten!

Presently I am cooking a chicken and plan to serve it with olive oil drizzled mediterrean vegetables *yum* and maybe a glass of sauvignon blanc.

This evening we off to the cinema to see, 'Red Lights' It has an exciting cast, however, there are mixed reviews about the movie online. We shall see. Like everyone else, I like to make my own mind up about things :) Later's boyyahs' x

Really today was wonderful as it was bliss to see my sister happy and radiant :) I took her down to Sligo today and left her in the shopping mall when I went to audit for three hours.

We had such a ball together on the way home.. we did three pub crawls.. she had guinness and because I was driving I drank shandy. We stopped in a quirky quaint little pub called, 'Biddy's' just outside of Donegal, and a hotel called, 'Kee's' in Ballybofey. Kee's Hotel is still owned by the family, and we took pictures of our great grandmother whose picture still hangs on the wall there along with the tapestries she made.

Then we had a chinese dinner in Derry, and visited our old homestead.. and just reminsced about our childhood. It really was such a special day. It is good to spend time with those who are close, and loved.

Uh huh...Something doesn't stack up right....

Same-sex marriage in the United States is not recognized by the federal government, but such marriages are recognized by six states. (reference Wikipedia) however; bestiality is allowed 18 States!

(Alabama, Colorado, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Montana, North Carolina, New Jersey, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Nevada, Texas, Vermont, West Virginia, Wyoming

Also, it is legal in the American Samoa and Guam)

I haven't looked up stats for other parts of the world.. and I am certaintly not a prude, but this sounds so totally amoral.

How do you figure bestiality is legal in 18 states? Just because something isn't explicitly made illegal does not mean it's allowed.

What confuses me more is the fact that only 6 States allow actual marriage but well over a dozen allow cousins to marry.

XZavier: Zoophilia is a well published faq all over the internet, check it out as it makes funny reading. Belgium, Germany and Russia also allow sex with animals! Wikipedia has documented the following which I think is amusing...

Having sex with animals is illegal in 37 U.S. states. Until 2005, there was a farm near Enumclaw, Washington that was described as an “animal brothel”, where people paid to have sex with animals. After an incident on 2 July 2005, when a man was pronounced dead in the emergency room of the Enumclaw community hospital after his colon ruptured due to having been sodomized by a horse, the farm garnered police attention.

The point I am trying to make however, is how come so many States, and other countries can allow such a gross act but yet disallow gay marriage? That just don't stack up.

Interesting....

21:51 Jun 11 2012
Times Read: 1,516

A woman who was abused on the internet has won court backing in her bid to gain the identities of those who targeted her.

Nicola Brookes, from Brighton, was falsely portrayed as a paedophile and drug dealer by internet trolls.

She has been granted a High Court order asking Facebook to reveal the IP addresses of people who had abused her so she can prosecute them.

Facebook has said there is no place for harassment on the site.

Ms Brookes said the abuse started after she posted a supportive message about X Factor contestant Frankie Cocozza.

She said she suffered a barrage of abuse and one online bully created a fake profile in her name, which was used to send explicit messages to girls.

According to her solicitor, Rupinder Bains, trolls published her address and followed her on to other forums, including a recipe forum, to continue the abuse.

"Nicola is housebound so she uses social networking very frequently," she said.

"It's always there - it doesn't matter what she does, they are everywhere she is."

Rupinder Bains

Solicitor

Ms Bains said Facebook did not contest the order.

The website would have been in breach of data protection laws if it had handed over IP details without a court order.

Ms Bains said: "In order to obtain it there's quite a high threshold that we have to meet.

"Basically we need to show it's in the interests of justice... we need to prove the third party, namely Facebook, isn't just a mere witness but is in fact involved in the wrongdoing, albeit innocently, but they are involved.

"We were able to meet that criteria and hence the order was granted."

'Legal obligations'

Facebook confirmed it would hand over the IP addresses and basic subscriber information requested in the order.

As the subscriber information might not be correct, it would be up to Ms Brookes to obtain a further court order to compel internet service providers to reveal which people the IP addresses are connected to.

She would then be able to launch legal action.

A spokesman for Facebook said: "There is no place for harassment on Facebook, but unfortunately a small minority of malicious individuals exist online, just as they do offline.

"We respect our legal obligations and work with law enforcement to ensure that such people are brought to justice."

I think that is brilliant news and shows no one can hide behind a screen when serious acts of slander are committed. I do hope the implications of this act won't force these people further underground to think up different ways to beat the system.

I am glad people should not get away with this kind of harassment off and online.

Tomorrow is our 20th wedding anniversary, and we are celebrating by a whole bunch of us going out for dinner tomorrow evening. I have a bottle of pink bubbly which will be popped before we go there too! June has been a wonderful month so far; and for that I am grateful :)

Aww thanks! :) Dominic was my first and last real love .. we met when we were real young in our twenties. We dated, and formed a friendship of around five years prior to getting married, and have been each other's rock ever since :)

Now, I am past midway of my lifespan based on a family average of 90 years, I know how lucky and fortunate I have been in meeting a man just like him. I love him to bits and that is for always :)

Déjà vu.. get that feeling about, "Prometheus"? I am surprised at the Director, Ridley Scott allowing that to happen. How disappointing is that... pfft, what a waste of cash to go see it. I must of had my Alien hat on.

It wasn't quite what I was expecting, I liked it. Notice how it was left open for another.

Just a thought...

I think I would sign up for a VR mobile account if I could upload photos directly to my journal from my mobile phone. It is so time consuming having to save them on photobucket, and then uploading them here. I just ain't got the time.

I wish we could upload from mobile devices as well. But you don't have to sign up for a mobile account- its available simply by changing your skin to 'Mobile'.

I think the mobile skin is fantastic, I use it all the time when I access VR by mobile, however what the above journal entry was ascertaining too was providing my mobile number to the VR. If, I was able to upload pictures, then I would definitely consider giving this personal information to the website and "sign up" i.e.

On the welcome message it says, " adding a cellphone to your account has many benefits .. So on, and so on until it says, "to set up a cell phone with your account click here"

Personally, I don't see any benefits to adding a cell phone to my account , but rather more disadvantages...liked added cost; however if I could upload photographs then that would be a big advantage of setting up a mobile with account here.

I understand. The mobile number addition to your account is only for notifications though. It doesn't correlate to photo uploads, so I am a little confused. I agree, it can be an added cost if you don't have unlimited texting on your mobile plan. People should always be careful if that is the case.

Sorry .. I couldn't of made of made it any clearer for your understanding.

? I simply mean the two don't correlate on VR. I guess what you are saying is you'd be more inclined to add your mobile number if the site had more options you like. My input was simply being alerted of messages is its own option apart from any other.

That being said, I wouldn't recommend the mobile alert feature unless you are waiting on something... It is annoying for me. I keep it because I guess it's good for me to log in quickly to get to admin questions... But I hate the constant text alerts and having to continually delete the load of incoming texts. I'm considering disabling it. If I start working outside the home, I definitely will.

Yea, that's one reason why I didn't give my mobile number because of the alerts! Thanks Images, good to hear from you again x
