I don't want a bloody McDonald's stamp on my profile!!! It will be blocked when it arrives! Come on this is a freekin VAMPIRE website! Besides, Macdonalds get enough exposure so they don't need it here unless they are paying a nice advertising to the Culcuhian!
Unfortunately Cairo is cancelled :( until sometime next year, but the good news is my girlfriend Mary and I just booked and paid for a short trip to Cyprus for five days! We leave in the not so distant future... heh, thank -you AND thanks be for public holidays prior to the weekends!

Five days on a Mediterranean Island, just enough time to work on your tan lines :))
Gah, what tan lines are you talking about? *grins*
Bathing costume optional? You have got to love the Greeks lol
Well.. didn't they invent the fig/vine leaf? They have so many of them over there so it is good practice to make best use of what you've got!
Seriously, though and kidding aside.. I do prefer one pieces, they are much more sexy and it leaves more to the imagination in my opinion :)
Ah poot! I was so looking forward to living vicariously through your pictures now to have to wait... :) Sorry it's been delayed for you sugar but Cyprus sounds really awesome on this side of the Atlantic too.
Definitely pics! But rumor has it that Emmy keeps her piccys locked up in a private vault in facebook. You'll have to get your hackers tools out to see them.
Well, I am home! I had a wonderful time on the cruise-ship and there was only one thing which downgraded it for me, and that was a particular race of people. I am not racist, but man the ignorance and superiority complexes got to me and my husband! *coffs* as well as the pushing, shoving and bad manners! However, I am sure it just can't be the entire race.. but rather a few miscreant aliens who strayed into the way of the human race! It just got to be that way!!! *uggh*
(Talking of manners, you just do not degrade, or compromise people who offer their assistance on a voluntary basis! That is really low below the belt and beyond the expectations of decent people! ) Aside from that side-track rant...
Heh, our formal dinner table partners were complete opposites.. one was a hunter who enjoyed shocking the dinner table with stories of hunting and quartering poor little animals, whilst some of other diners were British vegetarians! I laughed as I realised the knifes were just not for cutting meat, but rather for atmospheres also!
Then there was the coloured veteran, who had won medals serving in Vietnam and who was offended by talk of, "Obama" instead of "President Obama" He appreciated that I addressed the President correctly and we hope to remain in contact with this humble hero and his wife.
Rita the Brit, had a shriek instead of a laugh.. which sent me to the fair each time she laughed! Heh, funny.. well I get amused easily!!
HIghlights... yes, many and photos are on the way. We went to the Virgin Mary's last home in Esphesus which had been blessed by the Pope and authenticated by the Vatican in Rome. That stands out, as well as sailing into a blinding thunderstorm at sea as we sailed back into Rome again at the end of our journery.
There is, was.. just so much to say, to see.. to do. Oh, and yea.. I won $250 in the Casino (not bad huh!) and hubby won $200! heh
Oh, and yes.. don't ever shade your eyes behind $2 glasses because that is all they are.. cheap, (coloured plastic) as you end up with sore eyes!

That's how it goes. We can live by our own codes all we want at home- but then we get jumbled up with others in circumstances this one (a cruise) who walk a totally different path. Sometimes that's a good, enlightening even. Sometimes it's beyond aggravating.
Welcome back.
...Sometimes that's a good *thing*...
do we get to see pics soon?
Thankyou. Thankyou so much :)
Promise, I will not hold out on photos. I have to get them burned on to CD. Those who are on my Facebook see them all anyway, every time :)
I'm not a racist. I have kissed an English person full on the mouth and eaten dinner at a French cat-lady's house.
*Waits to see pics*.....welcome back !
I bought a pair of £2 sunglasses today to take on my vacation purely because I seem to have bad luck with my proper sunglasses. I had a pair of Dolce and Gabbana - stolen, a pair of Chanel - stolen, a pair of Ray-Ban's misplaced and I really don't want to lose the Cavalli's that Dominic bought me for my birthday in March. I adore them.. I am just hoping though that I get the proper uv protection with the cheaper ones.. I doubt it though, considering they cost next to nothing.
I am so excited about my trip, and finally I am all packed ready to rock n' roll! I will get loads of photos and since Dominic is a photographer we will get professional shots of the countries we visit too! I can't wait to shake it hehe!
He picked some fresh flowers from the garden and put them on the dining table along with the breakfast he made me this morning. It is our wedding anniversary. Today is special, and so I am taking the day of work. I have a little shopping to do this morning to pick up last minute things for our cruise. I am meeting Steve at 1pm for a game of tennis, hairdressers at 3pm and then this evening my darling husband is taking me out for dinner. We will exchange gifts then.. and that reminds me *oops* I guess I have something extra to add to my shopping list!
A young wife sat on a sofa on a hot humid day, drinking iced tea and visiting with her mother. As they talked about life, about marriage, about the responsibilities of life and the obligations of adulthood, the mother clinked the ice cubes in her glass thoughtfully and turned a clear, sober glance upon her daughter.
“Don't forget your sisters,” she advised, swirling the tea leaves to the bottom of her glass. "They'll be more important as you get older. No matter how much you love your husband, no matter how much you love the children you may have, you are still going to need sisters. Remember to go places with them now and then. And do things with them.”
"Remember that 'sisters' means ALL the women... your girlfriends, your daughters, and all your other women relatives, too. You'll need other women. Women always do."
“What a funny piece of advice!” the young woman thought. Haven't I just gotten married? Haven't I just joined the couple-world? I'm now a married woman, for goodness sake! A grownup! Surely my husband and the family we may start will be all I need to make my life worthwhile?”
But she listened to her mother. She kept contact with her sisters and made more women friends each year. As the years tumbled by, one after another, she gradually came to understand that her mother really knew what she was talking about. As time and nature work their changes and their mysteries upon a woman, sisters are the mainstays of her life.
After nearly 50 years of living in this world, here is what I've learned:
THIS SAYS IT ALL:
Time passes.
Life happens.
Distance separates.
Children grow up.
Jobs come and go.
Love waxes and wanes.
Men don't do what they're supposed to do.
Hearts break.
Parents die.
Colleagues forget favors.
Careers end.
BUT …
Sisters are there, no matter how much time and how many miles arebetween you. A girl friend is never farther away than needing her can reach.
When you have to walk that lonesome valley and you have to walk it by yourself, the 20 women in your life will be on the valley's rim, cheering you on, praying for you, pulling for you, intervening on your behalf, and waiting with open arms at the valley's end.
Sometimes, they will even break the rules and walk beside you... or come in and carry you out.
Girlfriends, daughters, granddaughters, daughters-in-law, sisters, sisters-in-law, mothers, grandmothers, aunties, nieces, cousins, and extended family—all bless our life!
The world wouldn't be the same without women, and neither would I. When we began this adventure called womanhood, we had no idea of the incredible joys or sorrows that lay ahead. Nor did we know how much we would need each other.
Every day, we need each other still.

That is so beautiful and so true.
Well, my Dad knows...it is exactly how I view my sisters' and girlfriends' friendship. We all have each others back at all times, we never sell each other out for glory, love, power or money..never betray our friendship, and it lasts a lifetime. We are there when times are bad as well as good, we dont hide our friendship from others, and when we do silly things we discreetly offer our opinions without force for consideration...and that is why it is called *friendship* I love my sisters. I love my girlfriends :) We have a saying, if you have my love don't abuse it, and if you have my trust.. don't lose it :)
If I am not all of these things to a *friend* nor they to me, then they never were a friend in the first place.
The beauty about I-phone is it doesn't allow advertising windows to open.. you just get plain simple VR the way it used to be :) I don't need VR mobile either as I-phone operates just like a computer. I can expand text and read things comfortably! I don't even log into my computer to download email anymore! I can even access that when I am driving on I-phone! Push, is super, its automatic, its convenient, and I am a fan.... anyone like to buy a Blackberry? It is so complicated to use, and I only realised that after the simplicity of using I-phone! Loving it :)

Not like it was in 2004 no Premium members and way way way more people online. lol
I miss those days too.. I never imagined VR would shape up the way it has, but kudos to the old man. He made a successful business with practically no overheads. :)
VR 2004.. heh, Radu it feels good to know that we have been around since the beginning of its creation and watch its development.
One of Derek Bird's victims who was shot in the face and survived just said on Sky news, that he was a "nice guy" ..... Personally I think there is a very fine line between sanity and insanity and obviously Derek Bird crossed over to the insane. It could never justify what he did however; it could of been worse like walking into a school and randomly shooting children..

Only way to heal is forgive and move on.
Well there is forgiveness.. and then there is forgiveness..
QUOTE: Explanation: The center of our Galaxy is a busy place. In visible light, much of the Galactic Center is obscured by opaque dust. In infrared light, however, dust glows more and obscures less, allowing nearly one million stars to be recorded in the above image. The Galactic Center itself appears glowing on the lo...wer left and is located about 30,000 light years away towards the constellation of Sagittarius. The Galactic Plane of our Milky Way Galaxy, the plane in which the Sun orbits, is identifiable by the dark diagonal dust lane. The absorbing dust grains are created in the atmospheres of cool red-giant stars and grow in molecular clouds. The region directly surrounding the Galactic Center glows brightly in radio and high-energy radiation. The Galactic Center is thought to house a large black hole.
Mmm.. pause for thought. Hubby made think tonight about a time when I used to spend hours and hours on Vampire Rave "working" and on the internet gaming. There were no personal and career achievements in real life in those days compared to how life is now.... *busy * I said to him after some reflection, "I don't know there is something to be said for relaxing and spending time on something I enjoy, I had more rest in those days!" His reply.. "You are still not working hard enough!" Arrggghhhhhh!!!! did you ever want to throw something at someone? There just ain't enough hours in the day of late. ..but I think it was a wee whinge about me taking time out for holidays in July so soon after our holidays in June hehe.
Men! grrr.

I am sure there are many here who do have successful careers and without sounding pompous I am fortunate that I am one of them :) I just put too much time into the internet in the past.. and not just specifically Vampire Rave as I stated. However, I was talking about me and not other people.
Oh, I dont normally talk to myself! but the comment above was left to address a comment a member left, whose comment has now been deleted. Hehe, that sounds like peter picked a peck of pickled pepper arrrr!!!
Nice legs! What time do they open?
