Hurrah it's the weekend..and here I am sitting in my car unable to get out as the rain is belting down so heavily that I can't even get out into the house! Got some lovely aged ribeyes and salad for tea tonight. Yum!

We were caught in the rain earlier this week when walked to a free concert. It was a huge storm actually. When we got home it was as if we just jumped in the Mississippi River. Gross :(

First week back to work after a break, and it hasn't been too bad so far. I spend a day teaching tomorrow, and then *woot a fun weekend* ahead ☺☺☺ Kicking off with a Turkish night out with hubby and some friends. Can't wait for tomorrow to be done!!

I don't think I could possibly agree more.

It's too bad others don't share that philosophy.

I believe the worst though are the self-righteous people who believe they have integrity, but continue to look down their noses at other people; I'm sure we've all met people like this.

Lovely morning here in Ireland...it's one of those days that is sunny, fine and makes me happy to be Irish saying that Ireland is one of the most beautiful places in the world. ☺ To be sure it's a grand day for the wedding.bar-b-que and it's really started of quite well with a chill out in the salon.

Shame all good things come to an end..back to work on Monday. Flat out for a few weeks until mid September. I think it's Italy then.

There I was in a dream of a candy fight ( my team.was winning) and here I am discussing pollution and blue blood.! Think I will take middle ground. Somewhere. A cup of Earl Grey sounds the deal.

I got my first tattoo done yesterday which is part of the reason why I am wide awake instead of sleeping in the middle of the night. I got my lip line tattooed giving my lips a natural look with soft defining lines. I don't agree with all those cosmetic injections..but it looks good done naturally with no additives other than the needle. Man did it hurt though!!

When I had my biggest tattoo done I sat for six or seven hours. That night, sleeping was nearly impossible because my arm was enormous, the swelling was unbelievable...and it felt...squishy like it was filled with fluid. I know that's a really, really gross detail to add but it's true haha. It wasn't the tattoo its self but the flesh surrounding the area tattooed that suffered from the swelling. I talked to a friend heavily tattooed and she said the longer you sit for a tattoo the more swelling you experience, not sure if that is true, but yeah, I know what it's like to deal with the immediate after effects of being tattooed. Once I had some stuff tattooed on my chest and at work the next day my shirt kept sticking to the tattoos and it was summer and hot and awful! Haha.

How bad is the swelling?

Like Angelic Jolie lips atm 3/4 my lower face size. Ugh. She said it would take 2 to 3 days for swelling to reduce :)
