If I were a pressure pot, I would explode around about now! The only thing holding me together is the fact that vacation starts in a few days. :). Its 35c where I am going, a far cry from the 10c experienced here in Ireland today!
"People can always assume what they think, and whether they are right or not is a matter of their own perception " ~ Me October 2007
I went over the to gym, showered in the Indian icy needle shower and then leaped into the steamroom. Mmmm, the heat and steam reminded me of my sensuality as I luxurated the warmth of it all into my body. Time for the needle shower again, this time warm and then icy cold! No need for shocks anymore :)
The Swedish dry sauna was teasily inviting, and so I went in and turned the egg timer upside down and sat on the top shelf. My body had aclimatised already to the excess heat. I felt my face grow red and my toes tingle with the heat as it radiated into my inner self. This was lovely..I wanted to take my swimsuit off as it felt restricting but I was afraid someone else would come in.
All too soon, that luxury was over and I moved on to have some aromatherphy. I sprawled out and languished over my towel, my eyes half seeing the stars in the sky as I breathed in the menthol aroma. My entire body fell into a bliss of relaxation, and I was gone to a state that I had only ever dreamed I could be. I was riding the waves..the splash upon the shore a distant call of chaos and reminder of the real world I am to face again tomorrow. And, I felt I was floating, the calmness engulfed me into a surreal world. My heart thumped slower, and slower. She was numbed, calm, rested and felt beautiful :)
To top it all off, I went to see Michelle a physio I know affterwards, and she gave me a blissful leg massage for a hour. Now,I get to lay in front of my log fire and chill out. Heaven. Mmmmm

All in a days course!
You have no idea how hard I had to work to earn that treat! :) my legs still ache. I will be back in the steam room tomorrow morning!
I have a business meeting in London on Friday at 1pm in W1 (Argylll Street) If anyone lives close, I would have time for coffee and a chat for about a hour before the meeting. I am scheduled to return back to Northern Ireland in the evening, so sorry no time to meet then as I have to race back to Heathrow to catch my plane. X

Please don't let it be this Friday :-s
It is lol! tough cookies Steve :p
Wondering what it feels like to have little fish eat the dead skin cells of your feet. Is it painful? Is it tickly? I am thinking of going to have this done before I go on holidays, and I would love to hear from you if you have.

My friend said it was tickly! :P
It seems cool.
Little fishies. ♥
I heard it was extremely ticklish.
My brother did it once, and he said he left his feet in the tub for about thirty seconds before he couldn't take the tickling anymore.
I think some luxuries should be left alone!
Talk about sweat shops now we make animals work for ... dead skin. lol
Heh, thanks.. I am really hesitant in this one!
OMG the poor fishies having to eat dead skin...
I would think it would really tickle.
I have a pond and when I put my hand in the water the fish tickle my hand while sucking at my fingers.
I don't know if I could bear that LOL!
It has to be very weird feeling I think I would keep pulling away from them hehe :)))
My Jeep Patriot was just starting to get too old, poor baby.. so I put her to rest, and traded her in for a new model. I bought the Kia, Sorrento KX1 and man, am I impressed! She fairly motors.. 0 -60 mph in like no time at all!!! like a jet plane taking off! and it's sooo smooth and so beautiful! Heh, as soon as the road tax started on her this morning, I have been up with the birds and driving around! I took Mum and Dad out for a spin too, and they just were tickled pink about it, a bit like me!
It was sad to see the Patriot go, but she did serve me well and I put 73,500 miles on her from new four years ago. Sure, the KX1 will probably do the same in time :)
We are going out for dinner tonight with some friends.. looking forward to that! (if you guys are reading this, and well it's our shout next time)
Tomorrow, I am going to pussyfoot around, all day in the KX1 heheee.

woo! Sorrento eh.
Bon appetit for tonight!
It doesn't seem like that long ago you were journaling about a Dodge Caliber. What happened that one?
Thankyou. The Dodge Caliber was a beautiful suv but unfortunately I had to sell it to my brother in law as my knees kept hitting the dash no matter which way I positioned the seat. The Jeep Patriot was bought as a replacement. You remember the Caliber because I put a picture up of it all those years ago, I bet. The Sorrento is a much larger suv, I adore the space but I was atomishef to see how much cheaper it or any other vehicle is in the USA compared to the UK. I guess they add so many taxes here. It makes me so cross!
I had a lovely night last night Sulks, the food wasn't so good but the company made up for that :)
Glad you had such a great night and I bet the KX1 smells really nice..I love the smell of a new car.
Yea, me too giggles. Thanks all.. I must get the photos uploaded :) Hubby was busy taking a few with the iPhone so I must get them off him!
