It's New Year and interestingly there is 25% short order in the car industry as no-one wants a 2013 model apparently! We were going to party, but what family illnesses (yes illnesses.. the friend we were going out with tonight took a double heart attack and is in intensive care in a different hospital in N.I.) we are feeling it. Instead we will be going to Derry, Altnagelvin Hospital.
It's just one tragedy after another isn't it :( So sorry to read about this. I really hope this New Year will be a better one for you and those close to you. I'm here for you if you need me ♥

You are a brick to your family and your sister will need you around till she settles somewhat.

I know there are quite a few good people on here who believe in the power of God. When you are praying tonight please say a prayer for my sisters husband who is currently on life support in ICU. The power of healing prayer has worked so many times for different people and maybe they might help Derek who is currently in a coma. The medical team want the family to make the decision to turn of the machine in two days time :( and my sweet Sister is going crazy :(
Hi to those Friends I have made on this website, instead of sending christmas cards, well wishes and gifts this year I have decided to donate to a good charity instead. Got up for work before sunrise this morning, and was there two hours later at 7.45 am. Think. that. sentence. is.all.telling. The agenda this evening after work 12 hours later was a nice full tub of hot water laced with Egyptian oils and a cold glass of Sauvignon. Thoroughly chilled. Smiles.. I was thinking of the mermaid during my selfish indulgence, but I found her tail a bit slippy to catch!
All that work will bring in a nice nest egg for your future so it must be all good.

Yikes.. I got finished work early! This a first in a very long time. Maybe now I can do something about Christmas.. like putting the tree up, or buying cards to address!
Christmas seems a million light years away, what with Mum's hospitalisation and work running behind that I am beginning to think that nothing is going to get done in time this year :(
I still have the shopping to for some presents, the cards to write, get the tree up and decorations. Nothing Christmassy yet. My last day of work is scheduled for the 22nd December though, so it will give me three days :)
I carried out an audit today in a hotel which President Obama will be staying in during a summit in Northern Ireland next year. I was even shown one of the suites he 'could' be staying in. It's a hotel with several similar suites, and of course... I got to take some photos pfffft. :) David Cameron will also be there and all the other world leaders.
Unluckily they had a fire in the hotel in recent times, but fortunately it was not during the time our elected leaders were staying there! I went 'wow' when I seen the bathtub! It was so huge and had a two seats with jacuzzi, and built in flat screen tv! lol.. Looking up eBay now to see how much they are heh!!

Poor Mum.. On top of her worries, she has now broken two ribs! And whilst she was under care in hospital. Now, how could that of happened? Scratches head...
