The last day of 2011... We all like to make it special, and I am no different from anyone else. Whatever you do, be safe doing it and have a wonderful evening. We are of to a house party later this evening, and in true traditional Irish style we shall party to dawn no doubt. John, when he has a few jars will bring out the accordion..then someone else will pop out a fiddle, and another a harmonica and that equates to Irish reggae! So, that means traditional Irish dancing. Last year, I fell flat on my face trying to do one of the trickier steps heh..but it was all in good fun!
The weather is so frigging weird! We haven't seen the sun for a month in Ireland, but it's so warm and that warm I have to wear short sleeves!
I don't know if I am being selfish as the thing is you made a promise to me... now due to factors outside of my control that promise cannot now happen unless you change your decision
I think it was because I was looking forward to it so much that my dissapointment hides the logic in your decision.
Considering I am only two minutes from where the outdoor shoot locations of, "Game of Thrones" are in Northern Ireland, I must get some photographs in the New Year. I know I have definately seen some of the cast around these parts, the "Dwarf" (Peter Dinklage) being a particularly distinctive character and also Stark's "bastard son" ( Kit Harrington) I have met some other members of the cast whilst out walking around Downhill, in the demense and gardens... but they were past me before I realized it was them! I will be more vigilant next time :)
I have also luckily carried out a safety audit in the Magheramorne Quarry (Mid-Ulster) so I recognised the home of the, "Black" immediately with the exception of the, "white veil" of ice and snow.
All in all, it is an interesting series and I look forward to series two although some of the language is not of that time, however, it conveys the message of rough and tough time.
I am secretly hoping they will make a series three as I will be more tuned into their whereabouts next time around!

:D How kool is that!
Not up with 'Game of Thrones', not sure what it's all about but it does sound interesting.
Very cool. I like the series except I find the whole "dothraki" language and race kinda dumb..very dumb to be honest. If they were more realistic and didn't sound utterly made-up then the series would be far better.
You know.. you are not the only person who has a Vampire Rave tee-shirt :p

Bah! Humbug.. so much for Christmas holidays. I have a gripe! Because of a bloody email I received on Christmas Eve I will not now be getting the two weeks off that I had orginally planned from work. *meep* I have had to spend all day typing up all my continuing professional development courses, forums, self study etc logs. Now, I have a creek in my neck and could do with the steam room. I am glad I had my gym session today though.
Tomorrow, the same again.. but now I have to type up four years of audit logs.. BAH! I hope to get it done before the end of the year. I think hubby will take me away for a few days if I do.. *fingers crossed* but really.. the day before Christmas, what a freekin Christmas present!
This is law in the UK for websites who upload cookies into users computers and I am wondering is it the same in the USA?
"In order to keep track of your order(s) we require that your browser accept a small identification number known as a 'cookie' - this is a standard practice on the internet due to the nature of the connections used.
If your browser has been set to block cookies or cannot handle cookies then unfortunately this site will not work for you
If you have seen no warnings from your browser then please click on the link below to continue into the site - if this page reappears then then you must either adjust your browsers settings to allow cookies to be stored or use a different browser

Then you click agreement and you have access to the website...
Here is the applicable legislation.. it is worth noting that penalities and fines will not be imposed on Companies until May 2012.
Cookie Law
Quick links for this page: UK Regulations, European Directive, Summary & Links
Please note: Cookie laws have changed with effect from 26th May 2011.
On 26th May 2011, new laws came into force in the UK that affect most web sites. If cookies are used in a site, the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) (Amendment) Regulations 2011 (UK Regulations) provide that certain information must be given to that site's visitors and the user must give his or her consent to the placing of the cookies.
The UK Regulations implemented into UK law the provisions of the amended E-Privacy Directive of 2009. The Directive required that the new laws be implemented into the laws of all EU Member States by 25th May 2011The UK is only one of three member states to meet this deadline.
Below you will find details on the UK Regulations and some additional information on the E-Privacy Directive itself. Because each Member State has some discretion in how it implements a Directive, the cookie laws in other European countries may differ from those of the UK.
UK Regulations
The actual wording of the Regulations
The relevant rules are found in amended regulation 6, which reads as follows:
6. - (1) Subject to paragraph (4), a person shall not store or gain information, or to gain access to information stored, in the terminal equipment of a subscriber or user unless the requirements of paragraph (2) are met.
(2) The requirements are that the subscriber or user of that terminal equipment -
(a) is provided with clear and comprehensive information about the purposes of the storage of, or access to, that information; and
(b) has given his or her consent.
(3) Where an electronic communications network is used by the same person to store or access information in the terminal equipment of a subscriber or user on more than one occasion, it is sufficient for the purposes of this regulation that the requirements of paragraph (2) are met in respect of the initial use.
(3A) For the purposes of paragraph (2), consent may be signified by a subscriber who amends or sets controls on the internet browser which the subscriber uses or by using another application or programme to signify consent.
(4) Paragraph (1) shall not apply to the technical storage of, or access to, information -
(a) for the sole purpose of carrying out the transmission of a communication over an electronic communications network; or
(b) where such storage or access is strictly necessary for the provision of an information society service requested by the subscriber or user.

What does this mean?
The UK Regulations mean that a website operator must not store information or gain access to information stored in the computer (or other web-enabled device) of a user unless the user "is provided with clear and comprehensive information about the purposes of the storage of, or access to, that information" and "has given his or her consent". The consent requirement in the UK Regulations replaces the previous position which provided that visitors should be given the option to refuse cookies.
The only cookies that do not need users' consent are those that are necessary to fulfill the user's request. That will cover, for example, the use of cookies to remember the contents of a user's shopping cart as the user moves through several pages on a website. Other cookies, including those used to count visitors to a site and those used to serve advertising, will require consent.
The term "consent" is not defined in the UK Regulations or the Data Protection Act 1998. It is, however, defined in the Data Protection Directive of 1995, as "any freely given specific and informed indication of his wishes". This Directive was implemented in the UK by the Data Protection Act.
The consent requirement has been the subject of much discussion since the publication of the amended E-Privacy Directive. Various authorities, including the Article 29 Working Party (a coalition of data protection regulators from across the EU), the UK Government and the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) have voiced conflicting opinions on how the consent requirement will operate in practice. The authorities have differing views on whether consent should be obtained prior to the placing of cookies. It is difficult to see how anything other than prior consent will comply with the wording of the UK Regulations.
"Consent must be obtained before the cookie is placed and/or information stored in the user's terminal equipment is collected, which is usually referred to as prior consent," said the Working Party's Opinion (24-page / 202KB PDF). "Informed consent can only be obtained if prior information about the sending and purposes of the cookie has been given to the user."
"Average data subjects are not aware of the tracking of their online behaviour, the purposes of the tracking, etc. They are not always aware of how to use browser settings to reject cookies, even if this is included in privacy policies," said the Working Party. "It is a fallacy to deem that on a general basis data subject inaction (he/she has not set the browser to refuse cookies) provides a clear and unambiguous indication of his/her wishes."
The Working Party did not go as far as to say that every website needs to ask every visitor to accept every cookie, though. Many cookies are used by advertising networks across multiple sites. For these cookies, consent can be given once to a network and cover all the sites that network serves, according to the Working Party.
Shortly before the publication of the Regulations the Information Commissioner published guidance that offers advice on when and how the consent may be given.
Although the guidance suggests a number of methods to obtain consent it stops short of providing definitive guidance on how to achieve compliance, leaving it to businesses and organisations to review their use of cookies and consider how they might be able to obtain the necessary consent.
Both the ICO and the UK Government have not ruled out the use of browser settings to achieve compliance in the future. The Government has set up a working group comprising Mozilla, Apple, Microsoft, Google, Yahoo, the Internet Advertising Bureau and Adobe to work on a technical solution. In the meantime the ICO advises businesses to obtain consent some other way. The guidance states:
"At present, most browser settings are not sophisticated enough to allow you to assume that the user has given consent to allow your website to set a cookie. Also, not everyone who visits your site will do so using a browser. They may, for example, have used an application on their mobile device. So, for now we are advising organisations which use cookies or other means of storing information on a user's equipment that they have to gain consent some other way".
The guidance continues:
"You need to provide information about cookies and obtain consent before a cookie is set for the first time. Provided you get consent at that point you do not need to do so again for the same person each time you use the same cookie (for the same purpose) in future".
The ICO will consider issuing more detailed advice if they deem it appropriate. They have stated in their guidance that this may include further examples of how to gain consent for particular types of cookies as methods develop.
Penalty for non-compliance
Fortunately for operators of web sites, the ICO has indicated that during the next twelve months it will not be taking any enforcement action against companies that can show that they are considering their use of cookies and working on solutions to the problem of obtaining consent. The key message from the ICO is that inaction is not acceptable. If the ICO is of the view that organisations are not making adequate preparations to be compliant by May 2012 a warning may be issued as to the use of the Information Commissioner's future powers.
From May 2012 the ICO will follow the approach to enforcement set out in the Commissioner's Data Protection Regulatory Action Policy. In deciding whether enforcement action is appropriate the ICO will be concerned with the impact of the breach of the new cookie law on the privacy and other rights of website users, not just with if there has been a technical breach of the UK Regulations.
The UK Regulations carry a maximum fine of £500,000 for serious breaches. It is anticipated that this power will only be used in limited circumstances. Before this the fine was £5,000 and companies may have been willing to run the risk but with these increased powers the result of enforcement action is potentially more severe.

The Data Protection Act Can Also Apply
The UK's Data Protection Act of 1998 derives from the EU Data Protection Directive and does not contain specific provisions relating to cookies. However, it does require that where personal information is collected then data subjects (which will include internet users) should be told of this collection or information about it should be made available to them.
Even where it is possible to anonymise information, the information may still be classed as personal data under the Act if it can be traced back or put together with other information to identify the individual.
Therefore the requirements of the Act are that the owner of a web site using cookies (the data controller) must make its identity clear, the purposes for it having the information and anything else necessary in the circumstances to make the processing fair. This information must also be provided when personal data are collected from third parties.

Summary
There is a requirement under the amended E-Privacy Directive and the UK Regulations to
•tell users about cookies and what you are going to use their information for; and
•obtain their consent to the placing of the cookies..
The Data Protection Act also requires users to be provided with certain information. A simple way to provide internet users with information is to provide them with a privacy policy, a data protection notice, or both. The privacy policy or notice if used properly can meet the information provision requirements of both the Directive and the Act. For further information on implementing a privacy policy or data protection notice online see the OUT-LAW.COM guide on Data Protection.
Obtaining users' consent to the placing of a cookie is technically more difficult. As yet the browser settings option for obtaining consent is not sufficient in the UK as browsers are currently not sophisticated enough. Until such time as this becomes a possibility (if at all) the ICO and the UK Government advise that consent must be obtained in some other way. The ICO guidance which is a starting point for compliance for organisations, suggests a number of different ways to obtain consent:
•pop ups or similar techniques asking for consent can be used. Pop ups are discouraged by Web Content Accessibility Guidelines. They may also spoil the experience of using a website Users can also block pop ups by default, making this impractical;
•consent can be obtained by using terms of use or terms and conditions. In using this option consent is given by the user when they first register or sign-up. If this method is used it is essential that a user is made aware of any changes made to the terms to include consent for cookies and specifically that the changes relate to the use of cookies. It would then be necessary to obtain a positive indication that the user understands and agrees to the changes;
•preferences that users choose when visiting a site can also be used as a means of obtaining consent. Consent could be gained as part of the process by which the user confirms what they want to do or how they want the site to work, provided sufficient information about the use of the cookies is provided. This would apply to any feature where a user is told that a site can remember certain settings they have chosen;
•website features, such as videos, that remember how users personalise their interaction can also determine user consent. In this case, where the user is taking some action to tell the webpage what they want to happen – opening a link, clicking a button or agreeing to the functionality being 'switched on' – then their consent to set a cookie can be asked at this point;
•for use of analytic cookies to gather information about how people access and use a site it may be possible to add a footer or header to a webpage containing text. This text is highlighted or turned into a scrolling piece of text when a site wants to set a cookie on a user's device. In turn this could direct the user to read additional information, possibly contained in a privacy policy, and make an appropriate choice;
•where a site allows a third party to set cookies the process of getting consent is more difficult. Initiatives that seek to ensure that users are given more and better information about the use of information, for example the use of the "i" symbol, referred to below, should be used. Anyone whose site uses or allows third party cookies must ensure that the right information is delivered to users so they can make informed choices.
As an alternative businesses may wish to consider using a non-cookie site. A simple brochure-style site with no way to login and no e-commerce functionality may not use cookies, meaning that the new law will not affect the site. This option may not be practical for many businesses as it could place them at a competitive disadvantage to competitors and sites outside the EU. A non-cookie site may lose revenues from advertising meaning that it is not cost effective to run such a site. Organisations could charge for these sites but is it unlikely that users will pay to see such a site.
In the absence of definitive methods a hybrid of the above methods is likely to be the way forward for the time being at least, namely a combination of information and consent.
The ICO's own website places cookies and since 26th May a consent 'opt-in' box has been placed at the top of their homepage, requiring users to check a box to consent to the placing of cookies.
Website owners/businesses should consider what would work for them by looking at their business and how they use their website.

Never ate so much in my life as I did today! My sister is a good cook..and still six hours after I feel like a balloon! Seriously can't wait to get down to the gym tomorrow morning, before we go for Boxing day dinner at Mums ..my brother is cooking hehe.
I got some beautiful gifts today.. We are talking about going to Galway for New Year.. Spa down there! We will see, not confirmed yet.
My plan for Boxing day... Is to go to all classes in the gym, and do at least 30 minutes running! Sister, just called to ask if we were hungry already heh!
My Walls are decked with rows of Christmas cards, the hearth fire is glowing amd I am thinking that out of all the cards I received there is one that I am missing. Even the good Christmas wishes didn't come via the Internet but it's odd that the one you expect the most.. is the one that just doesnt happen.
Tomorrow kicks off with Christmas Church service and Holy Communion, followed by Christmas lunch at my sisters. Really looking forward to it! Right now I hear hubby humming and singing upstairs as he wraps the gifts he bought for me :).
COMMENTS
I hope you enjoy xmas day as much as me. I get to eat a scrumptious meal and 'NO' washing up!
Happy Christmas!!
Last night was good craic! I think it was after midnight before everyone left with their Santa hats on! Today is awesome, hubby has gone off to get my Christmas present.. and I have two weeks vacation to look forward to :)
I had a nice new white spanish lace tablecloth on my table last night and someone spilled a glass of red wine on it ... if anyone has any suggestions how on earth I am going to get that out then please let me know!
COMMENTS
Do you use Tide pens, or bleach pens, or even oxy for your wash? Oxy does work pretty well when you use it on whites and put a cap full of bleach. When it's on the last rinse cycle add a small cap of peroxide to help get the rest of the stain out. My mom taught me that when i spilled bloody red coolaid on her pearly white table cloth -.-
Happy xmas hun, stay well over the hols .. x
Oh, oh..thankyou :) my Mum told me that I would never be able to get it out, so let's prove her wrong!
Sounds like you are haing a wonderful holiday!!
As for your table cloth..there are several things you can do..
One is to get some Silver sheen, whixh is whitening shampoo that I use on the horses, but it works wonders hetting stains out of white fabrics.Dampen the cloth around the stain, take the shampoo and put some in a cup and mix with a little water, then apply with a soft brush or cloth and rinse. Then apply again and leave on for several minutes, then rinse.
Another is that you can take a small bar of soap..normally the ones you get from hotels seem to actually work great for this! Anyway, damped one corner of the bar and rub onto the stain and leave for a little while, then rinse.
Another involves hydrogen peroxide...Mix the peroxide with a small amout of Ivory liquid and apply to the stain.Leave on for sevral minutes, then rinse. It is important though E when using HP that you do a small test area first, because some fabrics will yellow a little and you must make sure your table cloth isnt one of those fabrics. All there are really gentle techniques that work very well.
Today, I have thirteen over for dinner at 6pm. I made a lovely mulled wine and strawberry jelly with fruits of forest *ahem* had a sneak preview this morning and its looking and tasting good! *thank ze gads* I also made a cherry pavalova with fresh brandy cream. I am not a great pudding chef, so I was worried about these two items!
Lobster, steak and chicken kebabs .. with a variety of different sauces are destined to be my main menu :) I have the lobster all ready to cook and may get that done before I go to gym at 11am.
I have a lucky dip (a basket full of useful christmas gifts) and a Santa hat for everyone :)
Well, I have been to London and back again today, with a new contract in my pocket for my business :) What a wonderful Christmas gift. I feel *smug* grins. So, I should..I negotiated it well. Now, finally I can get to relax and get things organised for Xmas! The only thing I have done is to write my cards so far, and I have ten people round for dinner and cocktails on Friday evening! I do have lobster and fillet steak for that already ordered, so at least that is a start!
COMMENTS
Congrats on the contract. :)
You got lucky with the weather too. In the east we had cold but beautiful sunshine.
Why, thankyou both very much :) Yes, I got lucky with the weather, so the flight wasn't too bad!
Lobster?
It made me smile today watching my yummy hubby out chopping logs for the wood burner. It was freezing cold and there he was sweating nearly bare chested as he swung the hatchet. It filled me with pride and love that my man does all those things that means so much more than money can buy :)
I impressed him by making one of his favourite roast rib Sunday lunches. For his pudding he got christmas pudding with real home made vanilla custard :)
Later he took me out on a 4x4 drive up into Mount Slemish. We got some fabulous photos of a very snowy and icy Slemish that even St Patrick would be proud of them! The car aced the climb, but it was a bit hairy coming down on an iced road!
After the sun went out we took off to the shops where I bought some Christmas gifts.
COMMENTS
Sounds like a great day.
What a wonderful relationship you two have :)
I happened to spill boiling water over my hand whilst making coffee. *ouch* stings like crazy, and I am going to boxercise class in about a hour's time. May not be able to hit quite as hard this morning! Hmm.. steamroom and sauna after :)
Home early from work :) A client is taking me out for Christmas lunch today. I stopped off at the store and got some wine as a gift along with my Company pendrives. Just two more working days to go.. Monday, an audit and on Tuesday weather permitting, I am off to London to sign a new company contract :)
COMMENTS
Check the weather for London or it may have to wait. I finish Wednesday but may have to work from home for a bit Thursday. I wish I could switch it all off now!
I am checking the weather every single day! There is no way I am going to London if the weather predicts snow. The organisation suggested that I dont travel either if there is snow incase I miss Christmas by getting stranded at Luton!
If you do get stranded just give me a call ;-)
There appears to be a growing trend in Vampire Rave for people to have a main account that has a high status level. However, these are the very same people who also have alternative accounts, which they use to trash peoples accounts with. Many people have several alternative profiles too.
It's a bit like being two faced, Oh, they will rate a profile a ten with their 'good' account because they don't want that one squashed, but they will give the same profile a 1, and a block with their alternative account (s)
Well, its a trend that I have not taken part in. Presently, I have two accounts .. this one and pammy, but being a life-time member and as you probably are aware, I can have three others. Last night saw one of those alternatives born. I may, or may not activate the other two I will have left. We will see, but if we are turning the Rave into Vampire Wars, then I too, will have my army at the ready to pay back the low downs for their actions :p
COMMENTS
On reflection, I have decided not to bother with alternative accounts. For the people with the alternative accounts, who recently showed me how devious and underhand people can get; I would like to say, that I have learned to be better than that, and for that I thank you.
Yay for common sense ;-)
Or in street language which they might understand.. it's called, having class.
This mornings trip over the mountain was horrendous! There was at least ten cars stuck in the snow, but I was so thrilled with the performance of my new car when it just flew on by. The power of it's traction was amazing.
Not only did we ace the mountain but it also drove through two floods.. My heart was in my mouth as the water was fast flowing and above sill level, but again we aced that too! I think I will be hooked to the KIA Sorrento KX series for a while!
So, I am wondering... Is anyone going to the auction in New York tomorrow that is selling Elizabeth Taylor's jewellry? For just one million dollars you might pick something up, like a wee 33 carat diamond ring :) I will take monopoly money, if you take the real thing ;)
COMMENTS
It would be neat to be able to play with the jewelry. I don't know that I'd want it. But to play with it would be fun. :)
Not this girl, but it will be interesting to see what her stuff goes for.
I'd love to try on that wee diamond ring!
Hmmm, I am just enjoying a lazy day off work but I am going into the gym shortly for a session with Niall. He is a boxer trainer, and I have my gloves at the ready :)
When you harbour resentment towards someone it only means that you have allowed someone to affect your life, and its therefore complimentary to the person who upset you. If you allow this resentment to be long term, then you should look after your health. Letting things go demonstrates it has no effect on your life, and then.. and only then can you have peace.
Well, that is all my overseas Christmas Cards posted. If anyone else from the UK, Northern or Southern Ireland would like to exchange well just inbox me and we will get it done :)
I really like Coldplay, and the song ..This could be paradise :) It's to die for. I am on the iPad now so I can't copy paste their video here.. But do listen to it!
I am taking the christmas presents I saved up for, down to the children's home today. Poor wee mites, how could a mother abandon such lovely children, or why have them when they are not tcapable of looking after them. It makes me think
COMMENTS
There are other reasons 'why' too .... and some have nowt to do with it being the parents fault!
But it's still a great gesture by you to make their faces smile.
Regardless ,its people like you who make their lives brighter.
Unfortunately I never get to see their faces smile onChristmas. I just drop the presents of at the office, and they wrap and deliver.
I like seeing things like this. Good that someone is thinking of them :)
I was meant to be going out this evening, but after boxercise this morning, I pulled a muscle in my left shoulder. It's really painful at times that I yelp out loud each time I move the wrong way. I have an infra red lamp and Anti-inflammatory cream so let's hope that does the trick as I want to get out amd about tomorrow!
I think I might hold a Christmas competition of my own in my journal, so I am wondering are there any objections to that, if the swag is from the Vampire Rave Store? I would prefer to have it in the forum but I am not sure if that is permissiable.
My friend Scarlett.. put this in her profile a few years' ago ..
I knew it was going to happen :( See above...

I highly doubt that lol
darn. I have been on a two day carb blitz, and I can't seem to stop! Hellppppp!
Defo a woman's thing. I just gotta look at food and put on weight!!
Whats so wrong with a little winter weight?
Another year nearly finished, and I wonder at how speedily it passed by. It has been a year of no regrets, and professional accomplishments that I am hoping next year will bring a more easy pace of life for tnis older bunny ;) I don't want to work 50 plus hours a week anymore!
COMMENTS
It really has whizzed by .. like you, no regrets ;-)
Glad it was a good one for you and at least the poor economy hasn't hit you yet. I can't believe how fast this year went by either, ugggh.
Advertising on cellphones has become illegal, and the Companies/Principals who are responsible are subject to a fine of up to half a million pounds. This is long overdue ..so now anyone sending spam advertising to your mobile can be fined.
Secondly, website owners will have to inform people who land on their website if there are cookies to download. People must be given the choice. This will soon be law also.
"When you`re a beautiful person on the inside, there is nothing in the world that can change that. Your Jealousy is the result of your lack of self-confidence, self-worth, and self-acceptance. The Lesson: If you can`t accept yourself, then certainly no one else will"
Jealousy is invariably a symptom of your own neurotic insecurity, so wise up.
Can't say how glad I am it's come to the end of this day and my nest awaits me, cosy and warm with the electric blanket on. Think, I will get up early and do a run.. if I have the energy. Two hundred mile drive to and back from work tomorrow.
She said, the dude is a jerk. Well darlin' his behaviour has gotten beyond the pity stage.. he just needs to go shoot himself, and do everyone a favour. When he is done with that, I think he would make pretty good replusive food for maggots. Heh. Yea. Like a meat slurry..
COMMENTS
Heh, I know someone that currently reminds me of meat slurry, yep..
It appears that weather permitting, I will be flying to Luton airport, London on the 20th to sign another contract too. I wonder if anyone needs a job? Help! let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

We are getting snow in AZ...i'll send some your way in hopes it delays your flight....:-) if not, have a totally awesome trip!!
You know, it just might already have snowed by then, in fact expecting it by this weekend!
wow..snow in Azirona.. who would of ever thought that would happen!
Oh my.. and yet ANOTHER new contract today. Haven't these people ever heard of the word, "recession"geez! I don't want to sound ungrateful but the holidays are coming up you know!
Don't be so serious, if you can't laugh at yourself., call me....I will laugh at you.

We all enjoyed hog roast and mulled wine at the Christmas market in Belfast yesterday, and I bought a lovely Santa Claus figurine. He is so adorable with such life-like features in his face :) I will take a photo of him later and put it up here but for now I have to scoot to work. Oh, aye.. got another new contract with an English firm to carry their audits in Ireland. That is two now!

Gotta luv a xmas market. So glad the company is doing well ;-)
Glad you had fun :)
Believe it or not I really don't like, and nor could I ever respect all staff members here on Vampire Rave, however, I do give them kudo's for pouring in hours and hours of their own time to maintain a website free of charge. It is best to think of that.. before you make any complaints ...because you can be assured that Cancer will support his staff every time, providing they have done their job correctly.
I think we have had some fantastic Admins in the past, but Elderdan, Moreish, and Sevenn have really been outstanding in their contribution, and stand out for the quiet and mannerly way they dealt with issues on Vampire Rave.
COMMENTS
I miss Sevenn :-(
Yea, I think they were all very good impartial admins :) Not a word of scorn in their journals ever.
Aching legs today.. after putting so much into my workout yesterday and I will be going for a three mile run followed by half a hour of weights shortly to. That is before going to Belfast and walking around all day too! but it may be a case of rolling around after having a mulled wine heh!

Wow, dang woman, hats off to ya :)
Now I KNOW I have been exceedingly lazy this past week. heh. :D
I'm sure that your legs will be okay, as you seem to exercise regularily.
I need to do more for my fat ass - lol!
We are off to the Christmas markets in Belfast today..a day of hog roast and mulled wine. A suitable bonnet will be worn!

Wish I was going with you emmy *sighs* Have fun dear :)
In the 'ole days a helmet would have been a suitable bonnet! :-p
heh, That would of done the job!
I found today's workout difficult. Boxercise..I nailed all the boxing bit as I have been boxing for a few years now, but damit I went down on the 43rd sit-up/uppercuts instead of lasting out to 45. Completely lost it for the team because of two darn sit-ups! Our punishment was 50 star jumps. Teehee.. I know one older lady who will not want to be in the same team as me next Saturday! heheh
Well... this sassy lady is off to the stores as it is time to get Christmas started! Have a wonderful day everyone!
Straight from my Samsung to you.. well you wanted to see my short hair didn't you? I need a make-over.. I'm wrecked after work.

And speaking of that phone you have- I am eligible for an upgrade next month and just might get that model. I checked it out in the store, and I liked it better than any of the other options. Just can't afford it :D But with all the rebates next month due to the end of my contract, that's a different story.
Short n sassy :P
Long hair works for me ... but you wear that well ;-)

I like the cut too.
And the thing is...when you want, you can always grow it out long again!
So at last, we will be able to view just how touched up, and how true/honest photgraphs really are. This will add an interesting feature to view photographs which have been taken in the past, present and future :) I always wondered how some people
made themselves look to be so glamarous..but now they may not be able to get away with that lie any more.
Good job!
