What a wonderful morning! what a glorious day :) It has all started off so well, with a hours session with my personal trainer doing those much needed muscle alignment excersises, followed by tennis in the blazing hot sun :) Completely digging the last day of April! Such a change from yesterdays doldrums about Mum :)
Hubby is off to the photography club today..they have a famous Canadian photographer over here in Ireland, so he packed up his Canons' and lenses and headed out real early this morning :) I hope he is having a good day too! Bless ya, D xx
heh, yip.. I'd be afraid to workout without him right now, at least until my back is completely healed, but I tell you what... it feels so good to be back a tthe gym!
The Royal wedding was awesome, and Catherine looked radiant.. a true English rose :) However, I heard on the Northern Irish news that Unionists here were delighted to have a King William back in Ireland again now that he was made the Baron of Carrickfergus :(
Aren't we jumping the gun a little here? He has to be a Baron first you know.. I find it pretty ugly that people have to make a political statement out of such a beautiful wedding..
People always do that, even the tunic he chose to wear that honoured the Irish guards, the R.A.F were pissed off about it and then there was the incident with the dress, they are saying if she chose another designer it would have destroyed the fashion industry.
People can be doom and gloom even when it's unnecessary.
I know you all have beautiful places where you live.. but don't the pictures just remind you of the place where you would expect to find fairies, pixies and leprechauns :)
Priss, it looks and feels like summer which is extremely rare! All the plants, and summer honey bees are out already, and it hasn't been that long since it snowed! Weird huh.
Fairies was the first thing I thought of in that first picture. I also thought.....wow....I would love to walk the path and see where it goes. The ocean..sigh....you do have a lovely country that I hope to visit some day.

You know, I really am such a dork going out without my camera... and when I do remember it, the light isn't good or it rains :( I have some ideas for a new set of photographs coming up soon :)
Today is the last day of the public holidays.. well at least until the Royal Wedding on Friday :) This morning I was able to get down the gym and do some stretches with my PT, and because it is so gloriously sunny I am going for a walk around the castle and gardens this afternoon :) I always love this time of year when flowers and gardens are growing with the delicate essense of their perfumes in the air :)
Dom, is busy in the restaurants and that is always a good thing as it shows people are starting to go out again. Sure wish the economy would pick up a little in other directions.. as much as I love my audits, I like teaching as well and the Company is down to four classes in April and May. Still... that is not too bad considering other training organisations are doing less.
Well.. must be off for my lovely walk. Loving this hot sunny weather during Holy Week. Thankyou God! :)

So, the Duchess of York is banned from the Royal Wedding on Friday, now that is truly being banished from court heh. I can't help but wonder if King Henry was still alive would it of have been; off with her head?

I went to the early Church service this morning, and I got to wonder how could Jesus have remained in the tomb three days and three nghts if He was cruicifed on Friday and rose on Sunday?
During Holy Communion I recalled that:-
Jesus prophesied in Matthew 12:40 (NASB) that "just as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the sea monster, so shall the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth."
The accounts of His death and resurrection as given in the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John indicate that Jesus was crucified and buried on the Friday, before sundown, which is the beginning of the next day for the Jews, and resurrected on the first day of the week, which is our Sunday, before sunrise.
This puts Jesus in the grave for part of Friday, the entire Sabbath, and part of Sunday. In other words, two full nights, one full day, and part of two days He was in the tomb. Since this clearly was not three full, twenty-hour days, do we have a problem of conflict with the prophecy of Jesus in Matthew 12:40?
I always wondered about that...Easter should always be celebrated on a Monday, in my humble opinion!

Well I finally found the note from the hospital regarding my crutches they gave me. Under. My. Bed. *straight face* I had been searching for that when I first had to use them a short while back.
So far I am keeping to my Easter schedule of domestic bliss *Coffs NOT* and have the bedroom all done, even under the bed! The spiritual lady I met the other day told me to make sure everything was taken out from under my bed. (Something about the passing of spirits during the night. *rolls eyes* but geez, if I dwell on that I will be sleeping with the light on. So my imagination stops right here, because I cant sleep with the light on)!!!!!!
I can't say how good it feels to get that piece of housework done hmm :)
Personally I don't like ridiculing other people as it puts us on a false pedestal above them and is tactless. It is also crass, it shows you have no class and that you are nothing more than a mouth but.... but... effort is required sometimes! The excerpt below is from a member's profile!

I have not ever really liked this time of year as I know for me Easter signifiies the start of a new season in the restaurants. Everyone is so busy for the next week, but it gives me the opportunity to catch up with a lot of the household duties that have been neglected for so long.
First, I am going to start with hemming up the new curtains I bought, then when I have my needle out I will do some repairs to some items of clothing for both Dominic and me.
Afterwards, I am going out cycling and when I come home I am going to do some baking and stock the freezer up again with some homemade tea-scones.
Once that is all done, the bedrooms are due a spring-clean and my closets cleared of clothes I never wear anymore. I intend to take them to the Action Cancer charity shop.
Uumm, I still find it hard to swallow that I had to pay £541 .00 pounds for new brakes and caliber for my jeep today.. If I had of known all that was coming I might of traded her in for a newer model! A Kia, most likely. I also need a new timer belt in 2,000 miles time and that is £300.00! Well Holy Marorony..
Well, I think regilion is a personal thing but yes, I am off the Christian faith. Good Friday, is always started with Church followed up with Holy Communion on Easter Sunday. Easter is also busy though if you are a bunny ;)

Okay, so sometimes I confuse movies with reality. But I had you going, right? No? Whatever.
The audit today was just bizarre. I felt a strange energy when the lady shook hands with me in welcome this morning, that I withdrew my hand as I was startled. Anyway, at the time I thought she probably determined I was an oddball doing that, but as the day progressed more and more was revealed about this lady...that the audit turned into more like a physic channelling affair heh.
She was able to tell me a load of things about myself, and how I was worried about a certain gentleman who is constantly on my right shoulder, and how I was drained of energy and very tired. She also told me to get rid of the energy source beside my bed as it was depleting my reserves whilst I slept and to close my aura at night. I was stunned, and listened intently.
Since I leave my mobile on my dresser beside the bed it will not be there tonight. I have to give it a go anyway :) She was also able to tell me about my injury in my right arm, and how that lacked energy also.
The lady was a medium.. I should of guessed as much as I found out a couple of years ago that I am really sensitive to the spirit world. Really I could of listened to her for ages... she amazed me! She told me of her bare-footed walks in the Sperrin Mountains in search of fairies, and about her Angel healing (must look that one up)
I think I have stumbled upon someone especially and exceptionally rare today, and I thank God for that and hope we can develop a friendship. I adore people who are different, just as much as she does. She said, she admired my spirit as it made me strong. Unmm, I never really considered any other way..
Umm, well what an audit! What a day! and the sun still shines :) :)
And the audits I've been through were just so...audit.

hey you... Yes you ! Don't you think you are taking this just a tad too seriously?? You sound, well just... ridiculous. It's only a game and something to lighten up those hours we have to enjoy after work is over for the day.
Today after work, I got out in the lovely sun with my husband for a drive around Ballycastle and the north west Irish coast. Wonderful, as the sun was spilting the stones :) Afterwards I barBqued fillets and had them along with some wine in the gatden. Long may it continue..freaky weather for April though heh..
The rating system isn't flawed, the people are! Morrigon's right about that!

To date, I have four profiles on Vampire Rave and it has been real interesting to note and observe that my Emaerald profile is the only one that has been downrated over the past few days by the very same people (and you know who you are) and who have rated a 10 on my other profiles. And... those profiles have little to no information in them lol. So why don't you all grow the FUCK UP, if you want to be fair about ratings freekin rate less were its warranted and don't be so fucking two faced.
So, here is some news for you.. I have sometime ago rated my own Emaerald profile with a 1 with all of my profiles as it was embarrassing to be always in the top 10, but do know at any time I can change my rating on my profile to where I want it to be. If I wanted to be at the top of a freekin list, I can be at the touch of my fingers. So fuck off.
Been up most of the night being ill and have to see a client company in six hours time ..I am worried it may prevent me from my work as the audit has been planned for the past two months. :(
thanks a lot. I managed the audit to lunch time and then I just had to pack it in and come home. Feeling a bit better now, so yea I will back in action tomorrow :)

I don't know if there is a link Morri. I was just watching news items yesterday when they ran the story about Smiley being stabbed in the heart whilst in custody. They showed some footage of his fans and one of the girls was attired in a vampire rave teeshirt.
If you exclude a friend away from you it means you were never a friend in the first place. How easily one can be fooled. Sighs, well that aside it's an awful week in Birmingham. I feel like a little child who lost her mum. .. I want to come home and the word FAIL is looming above my head.
In Birmingham on a study and exam course this week. Saving grace is that there is a gym and swimming pool here, otherwise I would go nuts ! Oh and VR :)
Simply stunning. A great reminder that so much beauty can still be found in mother nature especially after the devastation she has just caused in Japan.

I recently had an audit to carry out on a firm of archaelogists' and they took me to this neolithic crannog site (photo below) they were digging out in the boglands. So, yea this is what a crannog site looks like nowadays , and well they were digging in the island part with little trowels. Now! aren't I glad I had my wellies in the back of the Jeep for that one!
Ewww. This is why when they find a tiny 'something', it's like 'yay', it was worth it!!
I don't think I will eat lamb any more.

I wonder how many others like me have curled up in bed with every good intention of reading some material for continuing professional development (cpd) when the words just don't seem to focus and tune in anymore. So, here maybe that's saying I have done enough work today from 8am to about 10pm. (ish)
nada is sinking in, all I can think of right now is how cruel it is killing all those cute lil baby lambs that are jumping around right now in the fields to grace our dinner plates with.
Just thinking how internationally my family are spread; my brother in Spain, a niece in America, a niece in Australia, a nephew in Cairo, my sister in Tunisia.. It makes for nice vacations, but where I would like a small villa is the south of France or the Tuscany area of Italy. Now why don't any of you guys go live there!!!
Because I am too young to retire so visits are more appropriate right now, besides the only Italian I know is, " ciao" Meeper :)

Henry was an attractive and charismatic man in his prime, educated and accomplished and self proclaimed King of Ireland, and supreme head of the Church of England. Now what is so wrong with that?
Just a thought...I have since it's inception often likened Vampire Rave to the court of King Henry VIII heh. My mind!
Heh, well my objections and banishment from court back in those days, were liberated by the burning and disposal of the VR tee-shirt(s) calender, mug and biz cards. A bit like womans' lib and burning the bra ..it felt good lol!

Come join me and follow in my path during my early morning walk by the cliffs and castles near my home.. Photos taken in the trail I walked by iPhone :) It was such a glorious morning.
Thankyou. I am fortunate enough to live in this area and in this country as it is steeped in history, and beautiful coastlines but I am very aware that Ireland is not the only country in the world that beautiful places and history. :)
We got the htc hd7 windows 7 mobile phone today, and wow..I am impressed. Is anyone else out there using it, and if so what do you think? My iPhone is due for it's yearly upgrade so like hubby I may change to the Windows 7 phone. I love it!
