I just ordered some yummy coffee beans from Mochaccino's, but if someone knows where I can find some green-beans sorrento blend then please let know :) Thanks!
Just a general internet observation and not a specific genre to a particular site... but my overall observation demonstrates why some people are more suited to digitial management than servicing the same purpose in the real world. They simply couldn't, and would not survive in that position.

This is easier for a ton of reasons, I have experience in both arenas. I worked as a manager for 2 of the biggest retail stores in the country- in the top 5 stores of the nation as well. Far more goes into that. I left after I realizing I had missed most of my sons first 2 1/2 years of life- 70+ hours a week working.
I've been asked back, won't do it. I did excel at it, that's why they want me. But I can't do it and be a good mother at the same time. There's be no one here with him for hours each day.
*There'd* be no one...
It is a shame.. but I personally feel a lot of woman are discriminated against because they need a career break to raise their children until they are in school. Unfortunately some Managing Directors do not always view this positively for their business. It is indeed a sad thing particularly if they manage their job smartly, are committed to the business and keep the customer satisfied. :)
Women can no doubt do it... but in retail, no matter how smart you manage your time, you still have to be there nearly double the time of a regular full-time job... because the stores are open from early morning till late at night, ans then you're still there making sure you are ready for the next day, and earlier than opening for truck shipments of new goods.
I enjoyed working with a lot of people, but I had to make my son a priority. A different kind of managing job would have given me more free time, but these days... I am a homeschooling mom. I need to be the stay at home mom that I am. I 'work' here too :) Not just regular mom stuff, but educating him, and my own schooling.
Success in life is also subjective. Some need a specific income and positions outside the home, while others have success in other areas.
In my opinion, it's perfectly okay to be a working woman, working mom, or a stay at home mom. We're all going to have our own focus.
Yes, you do a spectular job with your son Images it really is admirable :) We digress from the subject matter, however it was just a general internet observation of mines at the time.
Talking about success, personally I feel blessed as all areas of my own life no matter how I view it, have been successful, and long may it continue! My friends think so too :)
I have a wonderful family, great friends, reached the pinnacle of my career, have super holidays, financial security, a house I can call home, inner peace, happiness.. and so on...yea I wouldn't of lived my own life any differently. I love success, in fact.. I am hooked on it!

Yup, she is indeed a wonder with falsies NG :) Thanks girls.. and hey Sinora, I know I shouldn't be.. but I have been hitting the sunbed trying to build up a bit of colour for the cruise! heh, I get those damn freckles when I hit the heat tho!
Well girl, you are beautiful! And Rat would have a field day! I mean look at how georgous NG looked..she is beautiful to begin with ,but Rat rocks the casbah when it comes to the makeup and stuff.
I like this pic alot...it shows YOU.
Doesnt get any better.
Please- with that beauty what can be done to add to it? You are and have always been a beauty. As with NG- just takes a little to do anything on your kind of skin, face.
I would love to get my hands on you tho. It would be a joy.
lovely!
Really.... no, seriously! Just when you think it is all over, there it goes again! *snark* I am so totally fed up with having to get my jeep washed every two days what with the fine fallout of ash. I hope this afternoon was the end of it! I think the airlines are too! the price of which will most likely be passed on to us consumers... Maybe it is time to buy my ticket to Oz for next year already.
Indeedy...... I might head for the sun before I erupt!
Mmmm, Emaerald has never been inconvenienced by a volcano before...
I took ill in my environmental study class today... another day of just taking in too much so I have organised my work schedule to have some time off after 3pm tomorrow. Sometimes I wish I could just jump into a plane heading to Spain for the weekend but now with the volcanic ash cloud that is nigh possible...
Don't you feel a bit of a twit for being here nearly all of the time?....

Play'd in a box whose candel is the Sun,
Round which we phantom figures come and go.

Coming back from church today I was thinking on just how weird the weather is... in an earlier journal entry I referred to how the time in the United Kingdom had changed to, "British Summer Time" and we had an ice-storm on the same day with sub-zero temperatures and now here we are, a week later and we are having a heat wave!!
Yes, it is bar-b-que weather and it won't be long until I am not sitting here! Hubby is taking me down to the wine-bar this afternoon for drinkies and a chicken bang-bang. So.. I can't wait! and hope we get a table outside :) Think I will wear the white lace.. it should match the colour of my skin at present lol!
Before I get to dress up though, I have an hour at the gym to do with Steve. I am hoping he will take me outdoors for my work-out!!
Stress need not be internalized or taken out on our bodies and minds; instead, we can learn how to use self-focusing skills to develop the kinds of solutions that strike a balance between our own values and the best interests and needs of those we care about. A big statement I know, but I have found solace in this what with it being one of the busiest Easter seasons I can remember.
The cafes were really busy, a new member of staff caused a huge fight with the result of a walk-out of an old and trusted member of sfaff (when it happens in real life it makes even Vampire Rave seems like a dawdle!) Now what is left to do remains to be source of contention for me as due to Easter work activities in another area, I still have my CPD to write up for my professional bodies and a CDM (Construction Design Management) safety plan for a block of high rise apartments that an Architect has designed.
I feel like Dorothy on the yellow brick road; just closing my eyes and repeating over and over again...

I give up really I do! lol As seen in someone's kissmet earlier.. it's a bit like calling the kettle black.

Babe youre smart and sweet, just ignore the drama. You don't need the stress.
*hugs*
Hmm, yea.. I actually come here to de-stress. I dislike disharmony but now I am going to bed with a headache over a few things. Silly yea.. I am smarter than that.
"I try to live by one mantra, and that is to make an honest effort to help all those whom I come into contact with, to smile. By accomplishing this one simple task, I am able to share the feeling that all is not so bad. Chances are very good that those whom I can make smile, will most likely pass that smile on to someone else. And so on, and so on. "

Amen !
Aww thanks girls, it is hard at times tho!
May-be one of these days I shall actually log-in into Vampire Rave and finally find your apology.
I am excited... we are going to see, "Clash of the Titans" at the cinema in thirty minutes or so. It looks like a big budget movie and I just love those kind of movies! Staying away from chocolate is going to be a problem though!
You know what? I am just so grateful that the Easter holidays are here so I can take time out of the rat race to chill and study for my exams. Praise to the powers that be for allowing me this...
Every Easter I would normally be going away somewhere but I am rooted in study for this one...and still NO chocolate! Mind you, I was tempted to get me a new corset on www.asos.co.uk this evening for my holidays in June. I resisted.. (so far) lol.
