A universal truth?

Although I was raised a Catholic, I do not follow a formal religion. I consider myself a spiritualist. I have studied many religious systems such as Judaism, Wicca, theosophy, Christianity, Buddhism and more and have come to believe in a universal truth that is at the base of most religions. I have learned to separate the our our spiritual nature from religious bureaucracy. I no longer try to define God... I live by spiritual principles of love, forgiveness and tolerance.. Just to clarify my views these principle do not make me a martyr or a doormat..instead, they empowered me to be the best self I can be and let others follow their path...what ever that path might be.

Yesterday, I had an inspiration to begin a new painting... I've had a beautiful new canvas sitting on my easel for months.. Last night I came home from my friend Angela's and began the under-painting for "Gabriella's Waiting" Its funny, Yesterday morning the photograph I took of Gabriella popped into my mind and I just knew I had to paint her... It is coming along beautiful .. I plan on postingthe pictures of it in stages... as I complete the work.. the under painting will be completed tonight... so I will post it sometime this week..
