Megan Daniels was on her way home from working a late shift at the Gilkey County Hospital when she heard an urgent news bulletin come over her radio the news caster stated,"The body of a young woman was just discovered less than ten miles from her home her in the small town of Gilkey sources say that the young woman had died as a result of massive blood loss she has been identified as Marcy Hamrick a college junior at Rutherford University if anyone has any information on this young woman's killer please call the Gilkey Police Department at 929-8898 there is a 10,000.00 dollar reward offered for the identity of Marcy Hamrick's killer." The story sent Megan's mind back to wondering to when a young girl had been kidnapped and her badly mangled body was discovered five miles from her home her killer was never found either and Megan was wondering if this girls murder was some how related to the murder that happened just five years ealier just then Megan's cell phone began to ring, "Hello this is DR. Megan Daniels how can I help you," she said. "EMS has just delivered the body of a young man we have reason to believe that it could be James Conners how soon can you get here to the morgue," the man asked. "I'll be there in ten minutes," Megan said ending her call. Ten minutes later Megan was walking into the morgue what she saw next horrified her to the very fiber of her being the man laying there had two deep puncture wounds in his neck the size of a twenty penny nail and where his eyes had been there were two black voids that stared on in a silent stare she could be for sure whether or not the man laying there on the autopsy table was James Conners she ran her test and it confirmed that the man laying there was indeed James Conners. "DR. Daniels there's a police detective here to see you he said that he had some questions for you," the nurse said. Megan walked out into the hall where she found Detective Mathew Reid waiting on her,he was the most handsome man that she had ever seen it had been a long time since she had felt any kind of an attraction for any man she wanted to feel him inside of her... "DR. Daniels I presume, I have some questions for you can you think of anyone who would want James Conners dead did he owe anyone any money or have any enemies that you know of," Mathew asked. "As far as I know everyone liked him and admired him." Megan said. Mathew couldn't help but stare at this beautiful woman he found himself longing to kiss her full pouting lips and he had to fight the urge to take her in his arms and make love to her she had the most blue eyes and beautiful brown hair that he had ever seen, "I am going to tell you something and I know that what I am about to tell you is going to sound crazy, what I think that we are dealing with here is a vampire not an ordinary run of the mill serial killer." Mathew said. "There's no such thing as vampires." Megan said. Just then James Conners sat up on the table his face contorted into a sadistic grin she noticed that his eye sockets had began to glow red and he had six inch fangs Mathew drove a wooden stake through his heart James gave out a scream in pain and he disappeared in a flash of light now Megan and Mathew knew what they had to do they had to stop this evil monster before he had a chance to kill again they had to find out who this vampire is but, little did they realize that the vampire was in their midst late on night Megan was walking out to her car when she heard foot steps coming up behind her she reached into her purse and pulled out her pepper spray and was getting ready to dispatch her wood be attacker and to her relief it was one of the hospital orderlies it was Scott Williams, "Megan I just wanted to let you know just how sorry I was to hear about James Conners death," he said lying through his teeth.... "I'm sure that his family will be glad to hear that," she said. Scott watched Megan as she walked off to get in her car it was easy to see why any man would want her she was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen with her green eyes and long blonde hair, "You will be mine and if anyone gets in my way I will kill them soon you will be begging me to take you body and soul."Scott thought. The next day Megan was on her way to see Mathew at his apartment to her surprise he was waiting outside for her he approached her car and said, "Can we go some where and talk..." Mathew asked.

"Sure," Megan said. Mathew and Megan went to the library, "Do you know a man by the name of Scott Williams would you believe me if I said that he is the six hundred year old vampire that we have been dealing with and that he is the one responsible for all of the murders," Mathew said. "I can say one thing for sure we need to stop him before he has a chance to kill again..." Megan said. "I know where he sleeps during the day," a man's voice said, "I haven't properly introduced my self my name is Father Michael Donner this vampire that you have been dealing with will be hard to kill because you see his victims don't just die they turn once you kill him all of the others will die, you will find his resting place at the Gilbert County cemetary." Father Michael said. Later that same night Megan and Mathew went to the cemetary they found his resting place with out any problem Mathew drove a wooden stake through Scott's heart Megan watched in horror as the other vampires turned to dust it was finally over or so they thought there was an even greater evil out there will they be able to stop this great evil only time will tell
