In dreams and darkness

he comes to me

a light in shadowed night



i see him there

i run to him

but gone is he from sight



i cry and scream

come back to me

but no good does it do



just a hallucination

of the troubled mind

just a dream for two

a boy i know

smiled so

and darkness turned to day



he had to go

this i know

as he walked away



my head hung low

a side friends don't know

in darkness again i lay



and i thought

have i found what i sought?

or will my skys turn again darker gray?



should i follow?

should i stay?

should i walk away?
