You look into his eyes now, and they are full of hatred.

But back then, they were full of love and devotion.

His strong arms now pack a powerful punch to your heart

Back then, they swept you off your feet, making you giggle.

He now pushes you away...

Back then he held you close

He now says cruel things

Back then he whispered sweet nothings into your ears

He now throws you to be beaten by the enemy

Back then he used fight for you

Now his lips are hard and cracked

Back then, they were soft and loving

Now he begs for you to go away

Back then he begged for you to be with him

Now you just wish hed notice

No matter how badly you act

You act that way because of the way you were hurt

But things now will probably never change.

As I lay on my blanket

And I stare at the stars

twinkling and shining bright

I wonder what he is thinking

I wonder with all of my might

Is is thinking of me?

Does he love me?

These questions race through my mind

My mind is encompassing in doubt

As I look up into the midnight sky

I see his face, and remember his eyes

I have my memories of his voice

His sweet and soft kiss

As I stare into the starry abyss

I will try to never forget

The way he loved me and how he treated me

But for now, my only love is in the stars above

She sits by the window

Alone and in silence

Goes by the shadow

She once used to know

Is it love or hatred she is feeling

Like a candle with a soft glow

There is a little bit of love

The rest is just pure hatred

She does not know the shadow anymore

It left her alone and sore

Filled with lies and cruelty

Only showing her hostility

There used to be love in the shadow's eyes

now its full of the hate and lies

She sits by the window

She lets out a sigh

As dreary rain drops fall from the sky

She whispers...I loved you

Then a tear falls down her pale rosy cheek

Then she looks to the shadow..

So tired and weak

By the window she weeps

As she falls asleep against the cold glass

And slowly her candle extinguishes

To reveal the darkness for the shadow to hide in

Never to be seen again
