damn what did i put here yesterday?, did i get to the overflowing toilets? well some were!!!! yukky,, i found the best way to avoid this most disturbing discovery on opening the door, was to make damn sure you followed a respectable looking girl in the que!!! that way you were always sure of a well cleaned loo!!!! never follow a pissed 24 year old bloke!!! oh no!!! sure to give you constipation!!!



first night was sooo cold t made it difficult to sleep, could have been the planes taking off every hr or so from the airport JUST the other side of the fence, and the runway pointed directly at us!!!!! we also had some survivors from the 'download tornado' lol, not your F5 or F6 type ,, more the nipp in and steal stuff type of tornado!!!! got a bit of video of someones tent flying up to the stratosphere!!! explain that when the owner gets back to his spot!!! "sorry mate your not in this camp site anymore!!! your in Manchester!!!" just imagine some drunk returning at 2 in the morning, lol,, he'd spend all night looking for it !!

just trying to remember who we saw on the friday??? ha Lauren Harris in the tuborg tent, then i think Kilswitch Engage, Limp Biscuit, a little bit of Opeth and then finished the day of with Faith No More,, what a first day , no way to see everyone you wanted to!!! missed Lacuna coil, bring me the horizon, Korn and many more!!! left for another day!!

went to my local pub last night!!! damn the ppl in there look so much like clones of one another compared to the folks at music festivals!!! first time i really noticed that,, god i used to be one of those clones.....................

Fantastic weekend away with Sam, (daughter) at Download festival in donnington, thought i would make a note about the memorable moments and stuff that i really would like to remember about my very first music festival,,



Oddly i should start with the camp site rather than the music! well we did arrive on Thursday and no music due until friday afternoon.. blimey walked at least a mile to the camp site to be told that there are still spaces in other parts of the camp and that the area we had arrived at was not going to open until friday!!!! WTF,, well after a few minutes of crowd pressure it opened DUH! shakes head after such a long walk you'd think ppl would be ready to pitch their tents at the first available spot!! but oh no, off they go right to the other side of the field??? lol.. anyway we pitched up just inside the gate got acquainted with our new neighbours, Rachael and Dani, the most lovely girls we could have hoped to met there i think!. we all spent the weekend together, doing our own thing and catching up during down times,, watching some bands together as well as spending a great evening at the fair on thursday night!! can't remember the last time i went on the dodgems but what a laugh!!!! lol, k have to get up now,, more later,,,
