We move in close as close as skin

and after a while the game begins

I move closer but you step away

I step back and you want more

we never get anywhere

we never do anything

we party and drink and you become

farther away from where we already are

I'm trapped in the routine we have

I'm stuck on your arm

I'm lost in your blind love

I'm on a leash tied to your heart

meant to lead you out of the dark

but I can't find my way

it keeps me tied to you

even when I want to escape

we've tried to break this bond we have

we've tried to push the line

we've tried everything in sight

you even tried loving two at a time

there's so much more I want from you

but you don't seem to care

you never treat me the way I want

you don't understand why I do

you ignore me at every chance

unless You want it done

we're in a one sided love/hate relationship

it's all about you all the time

no more time for me

I'm always dragged to do your will

whether I want it or not

I want to break this chain and run

but I want to stay near by

temptation strangles me

and begs me to escape my trap

but I've become comfortable in our routine

and so as my heart breaks so does yours
