Ever since I was little my parents have been addicted to food and I see that now. As the curtain been pulled away as I strive for a healthier life I see their faults. However, because of their addiction it makes it harder for myself to become the healthier me I wish to be. Though right now I'm about at "normal" size for the United States I wish to be less than that "normal" because it's just not healthy.



I've been a "fat kid" for way too long and decided to start on the road to stopping it in 5th grade. However, as a high school senior now I'm close to my goal yet so far away because my parents are too addicted to the food I count as good as poison. Plus, I don't want to loose them in my life when I could have done something about it.



All my dad does when he's not at work (which is mostly computer bassed with some laber, though probably not as much as my mom thinks) is go to his chair and sit, watching the T.V. He doesn't talk unless it's asking for food, drink, or for his daughter to shut up because she's telling him to at lest move to get his own stuff.



My mom slaves over him like some little dog wishing to be praised and not getting it. Doing whatever he wishes to be done and not having the figurative balls to tell him "no". Eatting away her feelings of wishing to be more than a slave to her husband. Which in public she is. However when it comes to being around me and behind closed doors, that is all she is. I love my mom, but I hate her way of handling with men.



Which is why as my last cry for hope is to clear the house of any negitive food influence. Chocolate, candy, and the like. You can say what you want about how it may be a bit exsream. However my parents' probably is equal to that point right now.
