this soul lies torn and bare

shallow lifeless shell

unfeeling not to share

i'm losing my grip on sanity

surrender control of the man in me

drowning in a pool of vanity

watching the demise of humanity



within the circle climb

in sacred soil lie

the whisper soft desire

the bleeding wedding pyre



heaven bleeding torn

the angels wings lie burned

the solace slips away

inward the heart is turned



i watch the flowers bloom

and daylight slowly rise

in fields of roses slumber

and hear the shallow lies



the witness truth is humble

in shallow grave i stumble

the weeping of the heart

the tender vows we mumble
