He gazed upon the waiting flesh with eager anticipation.

His eyes met hers; she looked on in revulsion.

You wouldn't, she challenged.

Just watch me, he said through a wicked smile.

He picked up his instruments and quickly examined them.

Sharp and gleaming, just as he had expected.

Without further hesitation he stabbed into the meatiest part, the knife flashing, slicing deeply.

He gazed at the pink, exposed flesh, the blood running bright red.

He savored the salty aroma. He could feel the heat rising from the fresh wound.

He glanced at her face, a mask of disbelief, but she did not utter a sound.

Taking that as a challenge, he severed the piece entirely, lifted it tauntingly,

and locking his eyes on hers, he slid it between his lips.

He bit down, the juices running freely.

Her look changed from disbelief to disgust. He smiled in triumph

As she looked away and shoveled another forkful of salad into her face.

Self-righteous vegetarian bitch, he thought to himself.

Can we get some more bread here, he asked a passing waiter.

That's the last time I date off of Craig's List, he thought absently.
