Are voices in my head real and the things they say true?

I hate the things they tell me, for they are all about you

Ask him the right questions or listen to the pause

And you will find the answers, though as sharp as claws

At least you'll know the truth ,no matter how it hurts

You knew when you first spoke that he was prone to flirt

But has he taken things further and given her his heart?

If the voices and the words they say are true

Then I never really had him not even from the start

The disapointment in your voice when we speak now is clear

Others try to tell me is nothing but my fear

That my mind is just set on reading between the lines

But I see all those unmistakable signs

I ask do you still want me and you say yes I do

But really in your tone ,says theres someone new

I pray every second that Im wrong in every way

But experience tells me that your not here to stay

I will think of you fondly for all the time I had you near

But never again will I believe them when they tell me it's just fear.
