September 2nd, 2007 22nd Sunday in ordinary time



Oh Lord, this week in America, they celebrate a day called labor

day.



This day is to be celebrated as a tribute to workers.



Yet, through out the world, there are children and people working

in very bad conditions and receiving sub standard wages and benefits.



Please, oh Christ, help employers realize that all people need

to be treated fairly, and that work is a gift from God, and that

it is the basic right of all.



But Lord, children should all receive education and be nurtured

and allowed to be children, not used as cheap labor.



Jesus, let all of us pray for a just system of employment, wages

and benefits that will allow families to enjoy the basics of life.



Let us all celebrate the various gifts You have given us and use

them to help all. Amen and Amen





Thank you, Lord Jesus, for loving us totally.

Hello, my 4 year old daughter Hannah was diagnosed with a brain

tumor. The doctor removed 99.9% of the tumor. Now Hannah needs

radiation treatment to make sure that the tumor never returns.

Please, please pray that the radiation treatment goes well and

that Hannah will have NO side effects from the radiation treatment.

God bless and heal Hannah. Thank you very much.

Thank you Lord for giving me yet another chance to see another

day, another month. Lord I ask you to heal my family from the

pain we are going through right now. My elder sister's son

murdered my younger sister's daughter in February, 2006. Now

the trial has begun and I sense the tension and bitterness in

the family. Only you Lord can come to our aid. I ask this in

the name of your Beloved Son Jesus Christ. Amen
