Dreams are dandelions
My dreams are white and wondrous
Filled with hope and faith
And yet my dreams are blown away with a breath
Floating away never to return
My hopes and faith are blown away
Floating away on a breath of air
The world is painful
This is a fact I refuse to accept
An yet my dreams die like the dandelions
To wither into nothingness
Simplicity is all I desire
And a hand to hold mine
But never to be
For my desires and dreams are floating away
And I am the dieing stem
My dreams float away and spread giving others hope and faith
And even desires and dreams of there own
And I watch how theirs fly away as well
Always spreading and starting anew
My dreams are the floating dandelion seeds
Always gracing the winds with there beauty
And eventually falling
Never to stir again
And sometimes bloom anew
My dreams and all dreams
Are dandelions

My distortions
When hollow words are followed by hollow actions.
Once so full now so empty.
The words are easy but are the consequences behind them easy as well?
Cruelty is something the world possesses much of and knows no bounds.
In my ecstasy I made a fatal mistake.
One that cost me love I didn’t have to give.
All that has become is a frozen dream.
Where everything is distorted and has become fantasy.
Not the truth which I am accustomed to.
My world has become synthetic and false.
When shall it end the reality that’s so warped?
Fallen to my knees from fading memories.
I see mirrored truths dipped in lies.
My mind becoming hazy from the poison seeping in.
Wanting the end of this hollow fantasy so real!
