So now AUTEC is UFO central? The cable is more than likely part of an older/prototype BARTS (Buoyed Acoustic Range Tracking System) system connecting to a hydrophone which are routinely located at depths of more than 1,000ft which is beyond normal diving depth and beyond a persons field of vision.
I am no fan of the Theory of Evolution, in any of it's many incarnations. At the same time I am also not a fan of one of the more ignorant arguments against evolution. That is to say the whole "was anyone there to see it happen?" pillar of debate gets me just as steamed as the some 28+ "missing links" that have been found over the last few decades. (Steamed in the form they were described and then presented to the public)
Just as many Creationists (and others who find fault with evolution) claim that since there was no visual record to be written down at the time of an evolutionary event there can't be any real 'proof', the same can be said about the notion that God created the Earth. According to the Bible there was also no one there to see it happen, so then they have no 'proof'.
There are two types of records, those written in stone and those on paper. While records on paper were made by man and may have many contemporary witnesses they can very easily be falsified, exaggerated and over time completely perverted. Records in stone however (as in fossils) can not be faked or provoked. Yes people can make some pretty convincing fakes but to anyone with the knowledge (and free of personal agenda, aka not bent on supporting their own ideas no mater what) it isn't hard at all to point out the fakes from the real deal.
The truth of a real fossil is just as immovable as a mountain, metaphorically speaking of course.
No matter the interpretation of a fossil the reality and truth of it can not be disproved. The same can be said for gravity. Some say it's a force others a particle but no matter ones ~belief~ you can't escape the reality that any apple dropped will fall.
I am not saying all of this in defense of evolution (or against it) I am saying it to prove a point. That point? To use the argument "since no one was there to see it we can't know" is purely childish.
There is one other thing I'd like to say about "missing links". It's easy for regular people (and many scientists as well) to get confused, caught up, and mislead by the term (and anything labeled) "missing link". A missing link is any fossil that fills in the gap between two distinct species. This means that there are many thousands of missing links in our record so there will be many missing links to be found as time goes by. A missing link isn't just a connection between humans and apes but and transitional species be it from a reptile to a bird, slimy thing to a fish and so on. The term "The Missing Link" however is not just any broad label it is the name of the direct transitional species from apes to man, which has yet to be found and may never be.
Just wanted to clear that up a bit.
(Didn't have all the time I needed to reread this and make sure it flows well so forgive any flaws)

Pretty conpelling eviedence they gave last night on history channel. makes even unknowldgable people wonder.
The missing link ca be found at WalMarts across the US...heh. Barring that, you likely have the right of it. I would make one assertion (is that even the right word??...meh), no matter how much religion squawks and science proves, the two SHOULD never agree. More often than not, one is about how/why/when/etc things happen and the other is what we do about it. I personally feel that science does a very good job of explaining the why/etc questions, maybe could do better, but it is the science fo what we know now. Religion on the other hand, IMO, is about how are we going to react to those questions being answered.
For instance, let's take gravity. Science can give lots of why's. Religion can answer if it likes. Does not fundamentally change either position. Gravity exists and can be proven. Who created it does nto concern science. Both parties can be happy on many many issues prior to getting to the ultimate questions of who created it all.
Even the big bang. Science cannot go beyond the big bang (at least I've been told and read a bit saying so, and I am open to being wrong). Religion can just have the faith to know that it was he/she/it who created all that stuff.
Am I making ANY sense? Not sure, vicodin is kind of running the show right now...heh.
ya know now that i look at xzaviers avatar he does resemble a leemer a bit lol

Well I do not judge about the walmart, oil companies or industries of that sort for what is currently happening with this corruption and/or control of the population, because everyone in the Capitalist world can do that by free will, the question is who has what it takes to do the free will? yet I do not agree with that kind of conformity, the reason why this country is still up in power is because: the goverment do everything what they can and have to maintain it under control; under the table and everyones noses. Destroying the countries around and feeding false hopes and schemes to the nation to maintain their interest and ideal way of living for them. Thats the only reason why US and Democracy have withstand all the heat throughout time. The whole United States 'new worlds order' platform in the first colonization of this country was designed to strategically construct what we have today, we have a base everywhere and strategic locations to protect the US interest in every corner of the planet, we have the big guns (others with it has to be unarmed by default), being the superpowerful nation despite of a less monetary currency value than Europeon countries but thats because it is the Old World united in the other band( most if not all of the great powers of the Oriental and Midwest world). Their wish would be to control the whole world by one goverment, and they are catching that up little by little, I would say the only thing keeping and making this harder is the continuosly growth of suburbs and overpopulation, which they must design something, war or disease to stabilize it; and it can happen and we wouldn't know, everyone would just think is natural and wars everyone will think is necessary to maintain their idea of "peace", as for leaks of this US behavior i have ALOT of reading for this throughout time just read about; Spanish-American war, world war window to enter, how they have basses in every important strategical countries/bases such as Philipines, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, some Virgin Island and Latin American countries, how they planted them and why they gave independence/citizenship once they hold this locations as military bases. The problem of our current world economically talking is the over population and continuosly growth of it (economically talking because they can afford to educate/aid a handful of young poor needing individuals with scholarships and funds better than keeping the murderers and criminals in jail where they cannot kill them and cost more in time to feed/shelter/stabilize them.)
Our economically depression are forging the path of making more criminals and desperate individuals rather than educated minds, and the jobs are getting more complex to find and difficult to maintain, so sooner or later something is going to happen and is not long for it to happen, so we shouldn't be surprised when it does, just as I wasn't when 9/11 acts were conducted and the window/excuse to enter to the Persian gulf war for "terrorism" was called. Yeah! they brainswash their soldiers and the citizen saying you are killing in the name of your country, justice and God, not knowing that you are killing for another interest, nothing to do with what you love, or what you stand for; isn't that what the other side is doing as well? when we are taking their resources and rights? US soldiers so proud of being military personel, when they are actually killers. If nuclear bombing hundred of thousands of innocent people in Japan was justice and killing over a million in Iraq for "No, we didnt find any potential weapons of mass destruction here" then they should really reconsider their unfocused perception of justice in their crazy heads...
Anyways nice post lol now I realize how long my response was =S
