i sit alone in the forest of Thane
We do not wander here, we pain.
My throne was carved of spirit stone
I rule this kingdom, i die alone
I watch my subjects
Walk about like the lonely ghosts that they are
Non Existent shadows that infest these grounds
With cries of sorrow
And faces carved with anger or long forgotten grace
Waiting to be saved or to disappear with out a trace.
I know their fears
Their tears i own
I rule this kingdom, i die alone.
I posses the most substance in this forest
I show them beauty happines and hate
Then have them love me
They always smile sadly in my bed
The ghosts of Thane
Some times their touches burn
But when soft i cry out heavily
Wanting yearning for far more then they could give me
For they are Not and I Am.
They are of shadow
I am of blood and bone
I rule this kingdom, i die alone.
And one day when the shadows part
Ill know who loves me And rules my heart.
