Still heartbroken about KG. I feel like I am responsible. I should have been more careful closing her cage. I did it a few times but I guess this time it was too much for her. She panicked. Her mate, Knyght, has been hanging with his offspring. Good for company so he doesn't have a broken heart but he will pick up bad habits from them. The kids are all biters.
I was heartboken when our girl lovebird died this morning. KG was the mother of 12 babies. Most of her babies were given to people at Ro's job. We have 2 and Matt has Robin. We don't know what happened but it was very upseting. She died in Ro's hand. We are worried about Knyght, her hubby. They have been together since birth. They always snuggled. He has been looking for her all day. Lovebirds bond for life like wolves.

I am so sorry about your bird. It's always hard to lose a much loved feathered friend. When my parakeet died in my hand (renal failure) I showed him to my other two birds, and they got very quiet for a long time. It's like they know what happens. I hope Knyght will be all right.
