I watched my son (5) slip on the small ice patch and didn't warn him.
why?
so he learns to pay attention and not goof off.
He is fine.
but we practiced walking over it a few times so he got the hang of it.
I try to turn everything into a learning experience.
and, well, some make you fall on your butt.
