I've MIA for a while but all for good reasons. I just had surgey last week after my DR. found a tumor. It did come back as cancer but they think they have removed it all. I go back next week to a full body exam (oh joy) and to have my stitches removed.
On a lighter note, I am not a Mrs. Yep, I got married a couple weeks ago and I must say I am still on cloud 9. I do not think that I could have found a better man!
I've also been swamped with work and school. Thankfully though, I should be graduating within a year then it will be time to schedule my test to get licensed to practice! So after me and a good friend of mine are going to open up a daycare/elementary school for special needs children that are also academically and artistically advanced. So I am very excited about that, yay!

I am sorry to hear about the cancer. I hope that all of it was removed. So many people in my family have had cancer, my stepfather being the most recent. He had it on his tonsil. They were able to remove all of it with chemo and radiation.
I am happy that you will graduating soon and will be working with challenged kids. Will you be working with any autistic children? I have a friend that has a 3 year old daughter that has been confirmed as autistic but only a mild case. She can't say any words yet, she makes noises and has a short attention span. She also makes yelling noises, but she is a great kid really. The doctors said that eventually she will be able to talk and will even be able to live with assistance when she gets older.
