Sooo I have been reluctant to watch the show Treme but I finally gave in tonight. While I do like it, I'm a bit pissed. Not even 20 mins into the 1st episode theres a scene of one girl bitching about when the gretna cops held everyone on the bitch at gun point and made them take the Gen.DeGuall Exit. Well ya know FUCK YOU!!!! People act like they were made to jump into the damn Miss. River when they weren't. 1, the Gen DeGuall exit is the first one off the bridge, which means they would not have to walk as far, 2, I already lost damn near everything that I owend from katrina, the last thing I want is some bitch coming into my home and stealing what;s left for the taken. Being on the west bank meant that there was not as much of a problem of burglary as the downtown had, but damn it we still had our fucking flooding anf tornados and robbery too, not to mention the shoot outs and what not. Most that read this probably won't understand but the if there is anyone that is from my area of town then you know exactly what I am talking about.
