A poem without a name, does it lose its place?

Through my heart I feel a pain

Like a needle ripping through a vein

I push the pain back, and try another time

Only to find once more the same old rhyme

I love you

I love you too

Goodbye

Why?

Like a script written and passed through existence

I am always left alone my heart in need of assistance

Tired and broken a new face appears

Shrouded not in darkness but light and banishes away my fears

A soft murmur of ‘I’ll always be with you’

Translates easily into ‘I will leave you too’

Alone again in maybe a week’s time

I laugh and fall as flesh tears though only mine

Silently I wonder if my stories written on a dime

Why else would it repeat itself so often, it’s a crime

Falling faster I whisper words I cannot quite place

Love is not an emotion or ability, it’s a race
