My daughter is still in Michigan. She comes home Tuesday evening.



Saturday, she gave em hell and took 2nd place in her weight division! 2nd place!! Hey, we're talking nationwide here. How can I NOT be braggin??? heh



.....and...it's finally overwith. I just hope the idiots that tried to drag her down leave her alone now.

My son took 3rd place in the 2 mile race and 4th place in the 1 mile race. That puts him going to the District meet as a competitor in the 2 mile and as an alternate in the 1 mile. He's not exactly thrilled with his time and placement, BUT he IS thrilled to have made it to District. He's running everyday now and pushing himself to beat his best times.

That's the one thing I'm glad they got from their father. I was in band and choir. There isn't an athletic bone in my body.



I'm so glad the last three are different. My first one ended up more like her mama. No activities, no band, no choir...she sailed thru her academics though.
